I have never seen a thing like this in my entire life. We are in a world where people don’t follow due process any more and keep to terms and conditions. I had a one year contract with Brightpath and before the contract could end, I had informed them I will not be renewing the contract as I was looking to go to an A bank. After going back and forth with them they eventually agreed. I had emailed them letting them know that I will be going elsewhere as their interest rate was out of this world and they are always never accessible through phone calls.
My lawyer sent them a message letting them know we want to pay off the loan of $165,000 and this people are asking for extra $35000 extra for no reasons what so ever.we have been consistent in our payments and has never owe them. I have told them I will take them up as no one deserved this bully

A year ago I refinanced my mortgage with Brightpath. I was hoping to refinance once again. . . . .after more than 6+ months I finally terminated the refi loan process. This was the most convoluted, frustrating process I have ever experienced. Underwirting kept moving the goal posts. . . . .a very inconsistent, confusing process that eventually caused me to go with a national competitor. Not sure what changed in the past year but this is NOT the same company I dealt with successfully a year ago

Was helpful and available at first. After being told that I was approve and to pay $500 for an appraisal, I was told that the underwriter needed more income and various other items.

Lost $500 dollars dealing with my Loan Officer. I think Brightpath is a good company, just had a very rude and uncaring loan officer.

The process started well but from appraisal to first payment it has been a confusing process.

There were a few minor bumps, but over all I was pleased with the service & I closed on time in my new beautiful home.

I was in the midst of getting cash out refinance. Like most of the people, I started contacting big name mortgage companies. Because it's a Jumbo cash out refinance I had 4 of them working at the same time. A couple weeks later one by one they came back to deny my applications for lack of income ration or Loan-to-Value ration. In the past I heard about Brightpath from WSB Atlanta radio station. It's a Saturday afternoon I decided to give them a call. Surprisingly there's a real person to answer my call. I talked to them of what I've been through in the previous applications and they quickly outline what I need to do and prepare for.
They really shared my concern and urgency on this matter.
I stayed with Brightpath for the next 3 months. We're going through layers of documents and requirements. They always conducted methodically and professionally. In the end Brightpath was the only one out of five mortgage companies to pull it through. Looking back I was so glad that I made that call to them on that Saturday afternoon. They really help me to have a "Brightpath" of financial certainty. I can not thank them enough.

I worked with Rock Bailey to secure a mortgage that fit my needs. Straightforward process with no gotcha's. A lot of paperwork was needed, but I expected that process and already had most of it ready.

I would like to say first we tried to go with quicken loan and found out that they are a joke we were referred to Bright path Mortgage by a friend and Janet Farmer was or mortgage broker and with here knowledge of FHA mortgages she went above and beyond she was great always there to answer any and all questions any time we would recommend Bright path mortgage to anyone buying a home and it's all due to Janet Farmer can't say enough about how she handled our loan .we appreciate all that Janet Farmer did for us thank you David & Belinda McKnabb.

Amazing people to work with! They get the job done and shoulder most of the crazy workload required today to get a mortgage.

Overall - it was a pleasant experience. We did have some trouble getting timely answers to certain questions and got a number of incomplete responses. However, they did deliver on saving me money and time in closing. And even when we made some late term changes, they were able to accommodate.
