Terrible, terrible customer service!
Terrible, terrible customer service experience. I live in Portugal and ordered a green resin 3 seater garden bench from the Leroy Merlin site on 11 April 2026 (Ref. 91414600, price 93.90 euros). I received acknowledgement of payment and was advisedI had a message from the vendor, Briconess, Italy. That's the last time anything made sense. I got a message (in Italian, so clearly, Leroy Merlin, PT didn't pass on the information that I speak English), saying my item (Ref. 26101L29217) had shipped on 14/4/26.
After that...nothing. I tried to find out who the carrier was from both Leroy Merlin and Briconess. I got nothing but formula messages. L. Merlin totally washed their hands of everything. They say you have to contact the vendor if anything goes wrong. Briconess never answered any of my emails except with a formula reply that boiled down to "contact the carrier who received the goods" - all still in Italian. I have written at least 6 times to their contact email telling them nothing has been delivered, saying I am flying to France 7thMay and asking over and over where my item is and who transported it. They just send the same formula thing telling me to contact the carrier. I have asked for a full refund to thedebit card I used, but I get no acknowledgement. L. Merlin don't care a fart, because they say the vendor is responsible, and that vendor obviously doesn't care about the customer either!
I spent my money and all I've had is weeks of frustration through latter April into May plus useless garbage in my email box. I will NEVER order anything from the Leroy Merlin site, nor have anything to do with the Italian company.
