Similar experience to other negative reviews. I ordered some samples which never arrived, they haven't responded to emails and their telephone number is no longer recognised. Fortunately it was only a few samples so only a small sum of money is involved but it could have been worse; I'm thankful I didn't order the £5,000 worth I would need to complete my project. They should not be allowed to trade.
We ordered some brick slip samples from them- never turned up- no replies to messages- had to claim via credit card company. Despicable scammers.
Absolutely awful. I ordered £650 worth of brick slips from their very genuine looking website only for them to never arrive. Tried contacting them, absolutely no use what so ever. Had to resort to my bank getting my money back. Thankfully visa did give me it back. But what a load of hassle.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
This company is run by two very unprofessional tradesmen who have ruined me financially, destroyed my family's summer outdoor plans and left work half-done after receiving their full payments promising to come back in ‘a few days to finish the job but never did. A job that should have taken max eight days to finish lasted 4 months and remains incomplete.
Adding salt to the wound, they dumped their unused pile of bricks in our backyard, and despite chasing and asking politely to come and clean up, they never bothered to come back and collect it, so I had to pay a private collection company to come and collect their rubbish.
We found their details on this site slipsfromstock dot com as 'approved' fitters. This was the start of our nightmare journey.
We contracted them to simple 1) remove the old pebbledash walls from a 40 sqm exterior house, 2) plaster, and 2) fit new brick slips. The work is half done, and it’s a total mess, like it was done by amateurs. It’s uneven and dirty all over, brick slips in-out (not flat), corners wobble etc.
DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THIS COMPANY (Wayne is the main person) DESPITE THEM HAVING A GENIUIN LOOKING WEBSITE – here are their company details - BRICK SLIP FITTERS LTD (Company number 12889606)!!
