Paper restorer's friend: amylopectinase.
Brewdog amylopectinase is not just for the brewers. Paper restorers like to use it when removing prints from unsuitable backings. It works well if you keep it warm enough.
Much cheaper than Alpha Amylase from Sigma!!

The product offers excellent value for money. Although there was a minor issue with delivery (caused by the courier, not Brew Day), their prompt resolution left me very impressed with their commitment and customer care. I'll certainly be shopping with them again.

Brew Day Seemless ordering and delivery
I've received my Brew Day item, this is part of a Christmas present for my son so can't comment on the actual taste of it, the kit was comple and I like the fact you add instructions so he doesn't have to go hunting on the Internet to find some. Really well packed and great quick delivery, for that alone I highly recommend it. Thank you Brew Day, my son will enjoy it.

Badly stuck sparge
your prices and delivery are OK but the malt is crushed much too fine resulting in the worst stuck sparge I have ever had had in the last 25 years of brewing. I probably wont buy again.

Hi Terry. I’ve just looked at your order and it was for 1kg of beech smoked bestmalz malt.
This actually comes in pre milled by bestmalz. We are sorry if the crush was too fine for your system and will investigate further. Would be interesting to know what the rest of the grain bill was. As 1kg would have to be extremely fine to be causing issues of brewing a standard 23 batch and the 1kg being a proportion of gain bill.
All other malts are milled in store. I personally use our grain to brew on everything from a brewzilla through to 400l nano breweries. I am confident in the crush we achieve to maximise efficiency whilst avoiding issues with lauter.
As a gesture of goodwill for your issues we will be in touch to arrange a refund of your order on this occasion.

I was impressed by the range and variety of the grains on offer.
Just 2 Suggestions for clarity's sake, maybe you should make it clear your hops are in pellet form (sorry if you do already) ,and could you put your best before dates on your website ?

Thank you for the review. I’ll look at the site and ensure that the pellet form is clearly shown! With regards to best before are we talking for malt and hops? If so there isn’t really a best before. The hops shave their year of manufacture on. The malts are ordered in a monthly basis, the maltsters usually specify 2 years on the packaging. The longest we would have a bag being used wound be 1 month so in general you’d get 23 or more months. I’d recommend using all milled grain within 3 months for maximum freshness however. I’ll look into adding bbe to the labelling for these products. Cheers and enjoy the brews!

Above and Beyond.
Great product at competitive prices. Quite aside from that, after a slight delivery hitch (the fault of the delivery lot, not Brew Day), they fixed it promptly and left me incredibly impressed with their diligence and approach to customer service. Will definitely be buying from again.
