We had such an amazing experience thanks to Geraldine at BHS Safari. Everything was really well organized and felt very personal to us from the beginning.

Our trip between Victoria Falls and Hwange National Park was truly special. The lodges, transfers and activities were all great, and everything just flowed very easily, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Geraldine clearly knows what she’s doing — her recommendations were always right, and she made the whole planning process simple and stress-free.

We came back with unforgettable memories and are so grateful for this trip. We would absolutely recommend Geraldine to anyone looking to plan a safari experience.

AMAZING trip to Kenya and Tanzania!
Jo Cooper and BHS Safari Co. thought of every single moment and made sure we sucked the bone dry! They listened to what we wanted to see, how we wanted to travel and worked out every single little detail to make the experience truly memorable. We had thought that this would be our once in a lifetime trip and we are already talking about going back!

I used BHS to plan my family's first ever Safari trip and it was the holiday of a life time. The great service began with my initial correspondence with Jo, who helped plan out the trip, answered any questions I had and listened to what we wanted. The actual execution on the ground surpassed all our expectations. From the amazing Mariska who tracked down our four bags that had missed a connecting flight in Australia, getting them to us on Safari with minimal delay and stress. Bateleur stole all our hearts, the guide in Cape Town was a delight as was the hotel. We finished in Zimbabwe at The Old Drift Lodge and once again we were blown away. We are already starting to think about a return trip in a couple years for my 50th!

How do you plan a trip of a lifetime? We began with a phone conversation with Geraldine Morelli from BHS Safari. Geraldine listened to what we envisioned, asked pertinent questions and provided insights and advice. A few follow-up conversations later Geraldine provided an itinerary that raised our hopes and expectations without inflating our budget. Five Nights at Thambamati Luxury Tented Camp for Safari, Five Nights in Cape Town and Two nights at Victoria Falls. As our trip neared Geraldine maintained communication and always responded to any questions we had. In January 2026 me, my wife, my daughter and her husband were heading to Africa. Thambamati’s understated elegance with a very attentive staff and exceptional food. exceeded our expectations. Mich and Charlie could not have been better hosts; they were very cognizant of dietary restrictions and prepared meals that did not compromise on quality. The twice daily game drives provided many opportunities to see all the big five as well as the Black Rhino, endangered painted wolves, countless zebra, impala, eagles, and other wildlife. Charlie’s knowledge and conversational style truly enhanced the safari experience.
We were greeted by Henning, our assigned driver at Cape Town airport who was extremely friendly, conversant, and attentive. As he chauffeured us for four days around Cape Town we saw Table Mountain, Robbins Island, the V& A waterfront, various places of interest in the city and the beautiful landscapes out to Cape Horn. He was sure to keep us ahead of the crowds, without making us feel pressured or rushed. The Clarendone Fresnaye Hotel was a beautiful boutique hotel conveniently located with a personalized friendly staff and beautiful accommodations.
Seeing the magnificent Victoria Falls was a perfect way to end an amazing two week trip.

BHS Safari / Geraldine Morelli, planned a perfect 11 day tour of East Tanzania for my friend and I. She provided excellent communication throughout the process of planning. She has first hand knowledge of this area. We had a variety of accommodations ranging from high end lodges to lovely tent camps. I would highly recommend her services!

For our recent safari trip to Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe we used BHS Safari and our agent was Jo Cooper. We absolutely loved how responsive, caring and professional both Jo and BHS were throughout our 3 weeks. We just had to send a text and right away, any issue we had at a particular camp was addressed and resolved. He arranged a special horse riding trip for my daughter who is an avid equestrian and riding in the desert in Namibia was one of the highlights. I greatly value how connected BHS was, from the moment we reached out to them and working with Jo was a genuine pleasure. Now that we are back in Canada, I have already reached out to him and told him I am planning my next Safari and the only company I would use is BHS and Jo, of course!!!

My wife and I traveled on a trip of a lifetime to Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, and South Africa on safari with BHS and our experience was very favorable, including planning, execution, and adventure. We stayed primarily at Wilderness lodges and guides for our game drives were all knowledgeable, experienced, and fun. We were treated with kindness and care throughout the itinerary. The BHS team was particularly accommodating to our mobility-related needs throughout, including last minute requests made by us to alter our itinerary. We recommend working with BHS to arrange your Southern African safari journey as long as you fully understand light aircraft timetables and luggage requirements to avoid awful interactions with DHL.

It was our group’s first time in Africa, with everyone coming from different parts of the U.S., and Angela went above and beyond from the very beginning. She patiently communicated with us for months in advance, arranged the perfect lodge, coordinated multiple vehicle transfers, and even handled a last-minute addition to our group with zero hassle. Every detail was taken care of.

Our assigned driver, Markus, was so professional, kind, and engaging that we requested him again for our return trip. (Let’s just say some unforgettable memories were made during those rides—stories for another time!)

They put together a multi-stop itinerary for us in May that covered a wide-ranging experience in the South African safari area that includes Kruger Park as well as adjacent private game parks.

Apart from the great itinerary, they communicated all the way through, making sure we found our way around and had the best possible experience.

Needless to say we had one of our most memorable game trips.
