Gem on the Gulf Coast
This is our first trip here and have found that Orange Beach is a hidden gem.
We stayed in the "Pheonix" complex. A very nice row of high rise condos with 6 different buildings. The complex is managed by Brett Robinson Realty located nearby. Each high rise is numbered from I to VI. We have found that the larger the number the newer the condos.
Upon arrival we had some minor issues with our condo but I contacted the desk and everything was handled immediately. We were surprised because it was Labor Day and I assumed they would be short staffed.
A representative from Brett Robinson personally called me to insure that all issues were resolved to my satisfaction. They were.
Bottom line is we had a great time and loved Alabama beaches as well as our accommodations. I truly felt like our business was appreciated by Brett Robinson Realty.
I personally want to thank Tiffany for her diligence in contacting us personally.

Stayed in Phoenix I
Stayed in Phoenix I. Excellent unit, nicely decorated, everything we needed! Only issue was the lack of some silverware, particularly spoons, may want to Add a few more. Check in and out were flawless. Particularly like the balcony on this unit, 1035, bigger than most!
We’ve stayed in several of the Phoenix condos, and this was by far one of the best!

This condo was very cozy! Clean and accommodating! Check in was super easy. All staff members including front desk, cleaning, and security were friendly and helpful. Perfect location! Will be coming back for sure. The price wasn’t bad either!

Phoenix Orange Beach 1003
Loved the condo itself but a heads up that that it had no bedspreads would have been helpful. I assume this was due to Covid. Our biggest issue was the beach access. You really need a step and hand rails, as it was too deep of a step for elderly and children. Only other issues were little water pressure and very slow elevators. We really enjoyed our time there and will probably be back. Please fix the beach access!

Stayed in Phoenix IV and we were disappointed that unlike many air Bnb’s there was nothing to start out your stay. No if you are flying you can’t take it with you. Next time I will look dishwasing soap, Kai dry detergent, salt and pepper shakers, nothing. Just be prepared when you go there to buy every single thing you need for a house and not being able to take it with you if you fly there.

Phoenix V and VII
This summer we stayed at Phoenix V twice and Phoenix VII once. The first time we stayed at Phoenix V, everything was fine. The next two times, the condo was not clean. Countertops were dirty, candy and food was on the floor, hair was in the fridge, the air conditioner filter was dirty, and mold was on curtains. I loved the location, but the cleanliness was not acceptable. We had to clean the place before feeling safe.

We stayed at the Tradewinds Condos
We stayed at the Tradewinds Condos. Our condo was exactly what we expected. Nicely decorated with the beach feel. Great view from balcony.
The only issue we had was the living room television went out. But with one phone call they sent someone right away. After many attempts to fix the issue it was decided that a new television needed to be installed. Which arrived the next day which also happened to be the day before we left. Which was good for the next renters.
We had a great time and will definitely go thur Brett Robinson for our future rentals. Very easy check in, check out & get response time for any needs.

Great stay but would have liked better mask compliance for guests.
Loved the updated condo and great location on the beach. Friendly staff! My only concern was the lack of enforcement for the Alabama mask mandate. While there were signs posted and the staff wore masks, most guests were not compliant. This especially concerned me when riding the elevator. I’d say 95% did not wear a mask in the common areas and I never saw anyone remind them of the requirements. As a nurse, this concerned me.

We arrived on Sunday the 9th a little early so drove around we were lucky room was ready for 4. We walk in the ceiling was stained and still popcorn ceilings. The 3 different floorings for a one bedroom condo was discouraging. The bed was made but not very inviting as no comforter on the bed just sheets and a blanket. The remotes in the bedroom had no batteries. The bathroom tub had cracks we thought we were going to go thru the tub. The shower head was so old it it looked dirty. The bathroom faucet was the same, no matter how much i tried to clean it, it looked the same. The counter in the bathroom was coming unglued. The carpet in the bedroom was coming apart as I thought it was dust bunnies in the corner. The living room ceiling fan made noise. The furniture was so uncomfortable and dated. The lamps didn't even match each other. The kitchen faucet leaked 24/7. The refrigerator had rust on the side. The floor was so dirty we had to wear shoes because our feet would get black. We have been to the phoenix a few times an have never had an issue but stayed in a different unit. The owner should be ashamed to charge that much money for this. Brett Robinson as a management company should hold the owners to a standard to rent these units out. Also, during this pandemic, the elevators should be wiped down hourly. We brought napkins with us to touch the buttons as it looked liked it hasn't been wiped in months. Whoever your cleaning crew is, get new ones. Especially during this time. Your expecting your guest to wear mask while your cleaning crew walks around with no mask. One even got in the elevator with us. We are renewing our vows next April and have already booked at the Phoenix 2. Kind of rethinking it now. We may be switching.

Disclaimer: COVID playing a role in review! We stayed in Phoenix X. First timer. Check-in seamless, no problems moving in. Multiple missing slats from vertical blinds in master bedroom. GOOD MORNING SUN! After 2 days of failed attempts to have maintenance fix the problem, I fixed it myself by moving slats from the living room. Broken toaster. We have to sign multiple waivers about what you can expect from us. Now aside from the above, let me tell you what we expect from you. I should be able to find out ahead of time whether drip or Keurig type coffee maker is in the room. I should be able to tell if a DVD or BR player in the main room. Is the washing machine standard detergent or HE type? Simple questions need simple answers.

I enjoyed my stay very much! The only problem I had was it took forever to get an elevator!! Especially when we went to leave took me 45min to get an elevator for our carts!!!

Tidewater orange beach
We stayed at the Tidewater In orange beach. Just got home today. We were very disappointed. We flew into Pensacola and had to drive to gulf shores to pick our keys up. It’s 2020 who still has to pick keys to a condo up. This was out of our way not to mention we had to check out by 10 an this morning and return our keys before heading back to the airport.
When we arrived to the Brett Robinson office last Sunday around noon the lady told us they were cleaning our room and it shouldn’t take long. We knew the Check-in time wasn’t until 5 so we thought for sure since she was letting them know we were in town they would do their best to hurry the cleaning process up. WRONG. We not only had to wait the entire time but even longer!! We had a grocery pick up in our van for over an hour. They were still cleaning our room while we put our groceries away! I was furious! They didn’t get finished cleaning until almost 6:00. We were very disappointed.

PhoenixV - 517 Filthiest kitchen of any condo I’ve ever stayed in. Dirty dishes in D/W AND in cabinets. Frig ice did not work and indicated new filter was required. The stand alone ice maker did not work. We bought ice, paper products to eat with cause nothing could be trusted. TVs did not work in 2 of the rooms. Floors made your feet black. Reported these issues on Sunday morning it took until Wednesday for a brief voice mail from Cashindra the Phoenix V manger. What a joke end of trips with Brett Robinson!!!! Not to big to fail!!!

Stayed at the Phoenix 1 last week
Stayed at the Phoenix 1 last week. Place was a little dirty. Our condo had no dust pan so had nothing to put the swept dirt in. Also in the master bath one out of four light bulbs worked. The last one went out on Monday and called the front desk for maintenance to replace bulbs. They never showed up so had no lights the rest of the week.

Island Winds East is not suitable for families
Can’t believe that Brett Robinson represents the Island Winds East Property. Condos are small and dated. Limited to 1 parking space per condo, including the 3 bedrooms. Worst of all is that their is no restroom for the pool, so it acts as a large urinal. Extremely disappointed in our stay, and as annual travelers to Brett Robinson properties this stay will serve as reason to book elsewhere in the future.

Not Worth The Money!!!
Nightmare is the best way to describe our experience! We stayed at the Phoenix West ll last week and when we arrived to our room we found it a mess. I can over look a lot because I had planned on cleaning myself because of COVID just to be extra safe, but 2 toilets were absolutely disgusting! I called down to the front desk after cleaning everything and the lady was extremely rude acting as if I was lying! They eventually sent someone up to clean but we had already cleaned everything so that was pointless. We noticed the next day when we came up from the beach to eat lunch that all the utensils were dirty, even had hair in the tray in the cabinet. We then had to take all the dishes down and wash everything. After two days my husband was looking for a towel and found a pill bottle dated 2018 in the bathroom cabinet. That was a huge mistake on their part! Thank goodness my children know better but if someone else had stayed there it could have not been as nice. I immediately called down to the front desk and they again started acting like I was lying and sent someone up to the room. When the lady came to the room to remove the pills she was extremely rude acting as if this disaster was all my fault! I have NEVER been more disappointed in my life! As much money as we paid to stay there it was totally not worth it at all!!! The only reason I am leaving 1 star is because I have to! I talked to others who were there at the same time and their rooms were pretty bad too! Unacceptable!!!

Great Customer Service!
My husband and I recently traveled to Orange Beach for our mini honeymoon. When we arrived, we had an issue with our vacation rental. We called the Brett/Robinson office immediately and they were extremely helpful. We spoke with both Karen and Jonathon and they could not have been nicer. They moved us to a new location right away. My husband and I spent two weeks in Orange Beach and stayed at both Phoenix East II and Phoenix East. Both condos were very clean! We loved spending time at the pool and beach. We also loved being able to walk to the nearby marina. We had a great trip and really appreciated the wonderful customer service. We will definitely be using Brett/Robinson Vacation Rentals again!

We enjoyed our stay here! The view was beautiful. The place was clean and had what we needed. The cons though...they really need to invest in some window treatments. Both the living room and master blinds were missing several panels. Made it a little uncomfortable once it was dark. Also the bedroom with the twin beds has a hall light outside that shines right in. There are no curtains and it appears to be daylight in the bedroom in the middle of the night! The elevator did break one day which was not fun to use the stairs in that heat, but it was fixed in a few hours.

When we arrived on Monday the sink was broken, the oven wouldn’t turn on, there was a wet patch of carpet in one of the bedrooms, the refrigerator did not have any shelves or light, the lights above the sink and in the master bedroom were burnt, a few plug ins did not work, and there were flies everywhere.
The sink was fixed Monday afternoon and a loud, bulky, industrial sized blower was provided for the wet carpet.
The oven was finally fixed Tuesday afternoon after being reported twice to the front desk. We were not able to fix dinner Monday night or breakfast Tuesday morning as planned. The carpet is still wet. Bugs are still flying. Lights are still out. Plug in’s still not working.
Wednesday morning at approximately 2:30am we realize the unit is flooding. The carpet in the bedroom is soaked, water is pooling into the living room, two suitcases of clothing are now wet, and the rugs in the living room are soaked. Notify front desk immediately and maintenance is sent up with a shopvac and towels to clean the mess. We are unable to locate the source of the leak and are up until 4am trying to dry and clean the mess.
Wednesday afternoon a different maintenance person and a manager come up to the room to inspect and look for the source of the leak. Nothing is found. Carpet is still wet. Bugs are still flying. Lights are still out. Plug in’s still not working.
Thursday the carpet is still wet and is starting to smell. Bugs are still flying. Lights are still out. Plug in’s still not working.
Friday morning I email Brett Robinson after not hearing any feedback from the front desk for all of issues. The only reply I get is that it’ll be directed to the correct department, never heard from again. The carpet is still wet and continues to smell. Bugs are still flying. Lights are still out. Plug in’s still not working.
Saturday we pack up and leave. We call Brett Robinson and ask to speak with someone regarding this nonsense of a stay. She returns our call, apologizing and offering a 20% discount. It 100% does not make up for the troubles we dealt with throughout the stay, but at this point we accept and promise ourselves NEVER AGAIN!
