not charging

I sent in my phone for repair because the charging port not working. they said they will 'replace motherboard'. I paid for the repair service and I got my phone back but the WIFI and simcard module not functioning. they said they cannot fix the issue, and offered me $120 to buy in my mobile phone.

I am not accusing them 'taking out my WIFI module and use it to fix other phones' and then charged me more to fix my WIFI module which 'suddenly not working on the day i collected the phone'.

I don't want to make accusation or assumption here. I don't understand how to fix phone, i don't understand how this phone repair business works. I just feel i got cheated by this kind of scammer business.

Please be careful about this dishonest shop!

Please be careful about this shop!
This shop (shop A) charged me $180 for the replacement of the so-called "original Samsung" LCD screen for my son's Samsung A30 phone. They claimed that it was the original Samsung LCD screen. After the screen replacement, the finger sensor failed to work. And they explained to me that it's a common issue that sometime happened, but couldn't be fixed and not related to LCD screen replacement.

3 days later, my son told me that this LCD screen failed to turn on. Due to urgent need of using the phone in the army camp, he then brought this phone to nearby repair shop (shop B) to check, and they discovered that this LCD screen was actually NOT the original Samsung as this shop (shop A) claimed. Because of incompatible screen size, that's why the screen came off after using a few days. At the end, we paid $100 to get it replaced with real original Samsung LCD screen at Shop B. And the finger sensor also worked after the replacement.

I feel like being cheated by this Shop A. While giving me the fake Samsung screen they charged me 2x the price of the original Samsung screen!

Breakfixnow (Queen st.) probably can…

Breakfixnow (Queen st.) probably can only change battery or screen but not complicated repair works. Brought my laptop over few times and they are unable to resolve the battery drain issue and had to refund me the money they charged. Better bring your laptop back to the manufacturer otherwise you will waste alot of your time trying to solve your laptop's problems.

DO NOT.

If you're looking to repair your phone DO NOT COME HERE.

I cracked my screen of my Pixel 3a

June 14:
- This store quotes me $160 for Pixel 3a phone screen repair. Fair. But wait.

June 17:
- Check back with them again for me to go to their store on day itself, tells me another quote for $200. Shows them they've quoted me $160, they apologise BUT they keep their price raised at $180, not keeping to their word.
- Another dodgy thing: decided to test them out on Whatsapp by asking them about the parts (see screenshot). Guy claims they use original Google parts and gorilla glass but HEY guess what? Pixel 3a doesn't originally have gorilla glass as their phone screen. Pixel 3a uses Dragontrail. So this guy is lying and fraud-y. LOL. (Hope this convinces you enough to not read the rest and just not go to this fraud. But if you want more of a bedtime story...)
- Me being desperate for a screen repair because being a broke boy myself I only have one phone, I went for it trying them out for the benefit of the doubt. Also they quoted me the cheapest among all other stores.
- Gets it fixed within 1 hour for $180.
- Also the repair dude was so unfriendly.
- Warranty is 2 months

August 11 (within 2 months later):
- Purple dots appear at the bottom right of my screen
- Searches what the cause might be... Realise it might be a fault during the repair process.
- Asks these guys about it they said it cannot be covered, saying its ALMOST 2 months and most likely ownself damage. w0w bless up. I didn't know 17 July to 11 August was 2 months already. Should we all round off time like that? Should we just tell our bosses on Friday that it's almost Saturday so we don't come to work?
- Warranty doesn't clearly state much on the receipt: They can just claim a lot of things and not give you the warranty you deserve.

To think I paid $180 for an overall crap service. To hell with it.
You sure you still wanna come to this fraud place and fix your phone? Don't do it. No matter how cheap just DONT DO IT.

It was BreakFixNow that I came to know…

Because of BreakFixNow, I came to know how important it was about battery life span and capacity. I got my iphone new battery replaced within 15 min and the staff also explained how to take care of the battery. I came to know some of my friends were experiencing lower battery performance on their iphone, therefore without further hesitation I had recommended BreakFixNow. My iphone's battery is still doing well at 100% after few mths of replacement.

My most recent was selling my new iphone 11 to this shop, and it was really a pleasant deal, which they bought my new phone at a very reasonable price. Joseph was kind to assist us and justified the situation for my case. Thanks!

Pretty basic service.

Pretty basic service.. They fixed my iPhone, it was not cheap but at least I didn't have to buy a new phone so it was worth it anyway.
