Great experience and help
I go in and out of Bradfords Dorchester branch regularly and i am pleased to say the whole team are always so helpful. Recently i had a delivery of bricks and they were delivered and put on site exactly where I wanted which wasnt the easiest, but the driver made it look easy and was happy to help, this was greatly appreciated

The office contact was very professional, personable and helpful.
The delivery was really prompt and used an appropriate vehicle for my drive as requested.

I ordered a concrete post online one evening with free delivery. I was surprised to get a phone call, from the office, the following morning asking if today was suitable and given an ETA of 1.5 hours. Later on the driver phoned when he was leaving the previous delivery to say he was about ten minutes away. On arrival he offered and did carry the post for me. This is outstanding service from friendly and efficient staff - many thanks.

Contaminated bags of 10mm gravel
I purchased two dumpy bags of 10mm gravel from Bradfords Dorchester a week ago. The ordering process was easy and the delivery driver did his best to postion the bags in the drive to minimise inconvience. However, the following day when I inspected the bags more closly the surface was covered with leaves and there was a considerable number of tree seeds many of which had taken root some with roots over 100mm deep. The bags had clearly been stored under trees and no effort had been made to stop this contamination. It took over 15 minutes to remove the majority of the contamination from each bag.
I emailed Bradfords to complain about the contamination (using the email address on their website) on the 3rd Nov including a photo but thus far no reply.
Because the ordering process and helpful driver I gave an extra star otherwise it would have been one star.
I have how had a response from Bradfords regarding this matter and they have discussed the issue with those responsible for the storage of the bulk bags. I was happy with their response and now consider the matter satisfactorily closed.

No fuss collection
Ordered and paid online. I didn't receive any notification of the order being ready so went in anyway and picked the goods up. I was only buying a few sacks of concrete so I suppose they was no point in making up the order separately as opposed to just putting it in the car from the stack, which the yard staff did happily and quickly.
