Highly unreliable developer Bpmcorp, no words can describe the company and Jonathan Hallinan

They had started the project Night Edge in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. I have purchased an apartment with them and so far I have have not heard anything back from them about the development of #NightEdge. When I have enquired the development status of this project, no response from them so far. I have confirmed that are not going for the development of this project.

Ethically, they should refund your money if they are not going for the development. After 2 years they are not even considering of refunding your money. Instead dragging you to a long sunset date and they are sitting on your money and it is like dealing with a bad b***h, Jonathan Hallinan.

I have found that they are extremely unreliable to invest anything with them. There has been no communication with them about it. My recommendation is to avoid this developer at all cost no matter what your sales agent say. They are there to make money for them-self and developer.

Read actual people reviews about them on instagram and they are very bad in terms of quality of development they claim.

If you want to throw away your saving, this is the developer for you.

Anyone else has similar experiences about please do comment on this or contact me.

Bad experience from start to end - think twice

Where to begin - I wish I never purchased with them. I would avoid. Plenty of other providers

1. The main issues are outlined below:
Never received project updates for over 6 month despite several emails chasing them
2. The project was delayed circa 1 year.
3. We currently live overseas and we knew this would make it difficult to organise finance at the right time therefore we actively contacted them regularly to request as much notice as possible to ensure we could do this. We sent multiple emails asking for timeframes over the last 3-4 months and got very little feedback when they did respond. We were then notified of settlement with insufficient time to get mortgage docs back. When the docs didn't look like they were going to make it in time we requested a few extra days to settle to allow our documents to arrive.
We were told in a very blunt fashion that we are expected to settle like everyone else (keeping in mind they delivered the project a year late).
4. There was nothing we could do to speed the paper up as they were in transit - our solicitor was contact BPM's solicitor everyday to see what could be done. They said they would get back to them. It wasn't until the night before settlement that they said if you cant settle you can have 1 week but it will cost you. I was shocked and annoyed that after being delayed around 1 year all I was asking for was a few days to allow paperwork to be received. Especially after constant contact to request ample time.
5. During the pre-settlement inspection there was a lot of defects reported (25 page report for a 1 bed). Some of these were quite shocking including cracked titles in the kitchen, bathroom was sealed at all, cupboards wouldn't open, loose shelving. I am surprised it was passed like this and seriously made me question the workmanship. I was actually informed to not settle but BPM wouldn't allow this again.
6. After settlement it took them over 4 weeks to rectify issues and gave no regular updates. Sent numerous emails ove the 4 weeks with no response from settlement or construction team.

All in all the process has felt very cold and transactional with little care or interest in the customer. Its been very hard to get anyone to respond or take any interest.

Finally got a response when I emailed the CEO and Ashley the Sales director contacted me. After a few emails he pretty much said it was our decision to live overseas he feels like adequate service was provided. He acknowledge that the product wasn't up to scratch "... it should have been done prior to settlement and we acknowledge that..." that was it.

Purchasing a new apartment should be an exciting and enjoyable experience and its been a nightmare.
