10 living in 2-bdrm, 1-bath & Board did nothing
Moved in March 2024 HORRIBLE six living above in 2-bdrm, 1-ba learning in May '24 that they only registered four & the board members heard this at a hearing b/c they didn't have carpet! Board did nothing about the excessive disturbances btwn 5am-1am & nuisance or anything about the excessive occupancy. Called Code Enforcement as instructed by my landlord but since the condo owner & tenant lied & Bethesda Park board knowingly withheld this information... nothing done! November, December leaks in bathroom, finally so bad they cut holes in ceiling and walls. The six people above used no shower curtain!!! Damage to my unit, the 2 below & someone to the side with MOLD! Nothing done! The tenants probably were told to leave by their greedy landlord who owes BPC a lot of money and BPC repaired my bathroom (?? not sure if the one above is fixed!!) Tenants move out Jan. 31st & owner does demolition Feb 1 & 2! Feb. 3 thru today Feb. 16th has jackhammering, drilling, sawing, hammering, nail gun, several men with hard heels stomp back and forth from 8 AM to most nights 8 PM and BPC does nothing!!! I have a major headache all day not to mention ELEVEN months of sleep deprivation and BPC does not care one bit but has breached their fiduciary duty & done anything about the many violations or imposed any fines as they said they would in March, April and May. They just let the man get away with all he's done to ruin my life & health! HERE IS THE KICKER! The greedy man volunteered the fact that before the SIX he had TEN living in the 2-bdrm, 1-bath in court & I have the transcript! To think such outrageous misconduct is allowed in Rockville, Mont.Cty where we pay high rent, & no one will do anything about any of it! I moved to Rockville, believing SAFE & DECENT area! I am beyond disgusted - and BPC is guilty of refusing & allowing code violations, negligent to enforce rules & bylaws, public & private nuisance, & allowed fraud. There is no help for victims & no justice!
