Excellent service
The online ordering process was slick, other options were presented (flushing etc) without any pressure. The option to choose an installation date including Saturdays took some stress out of planning. As far as the installation process, Lee arrived at the time promised, was helpful, knows his subject, was respectful, took care and tidied up. He worked in my loft on one of the hottest days of the year and remained cheerful and did a first class excellent job.
The booking service was great
The booking service was great, simple to use and easy to pick the date and time i wanted. The engineer was fantastic, arrived on time and explained everything he did with the boiler, really pleased with the visit, wouldn't hesitate to recommend boxt.

Made a huge bang on Sunday morning got through to boxt Monday said they can’t come till Wednesday
Told them the error code which indicates a pump fault
Man came Wednesday no pump put some sensors and left
Came home guess what put shower on 10 seconds bang been on phone for a hour they could give no explanation
No idea when they can return
They must think everyone stays at home all day not go to work already lost a day holiday for today
Absolute joke and there answer oh at least it hot well if it takes this long in summer god help us in winter

Our life saving experience with BOXT
The whole experience with BOXT has been amazing from install to finishing touches. Ashley who installed the boiler was brilliant and very helpful. I can’t fault his workmanship at all, very professional and willing to answer any questions asked. I would highly recommend BOXT to friends and family especially if you were in the same situation we were in with a baby arriving in a matter of days.
Boxt service contractor was punctual
Boxt service contractor was punctual. Performed the service and found an issue in the boiler. This was an internal pressure pipe which could have prevented the operating. Sorted out the pipe and reconnected. On finishing up the engineer reassembled the boiler and corrected some misalignment of the bottom cover that was overlooked by the previous engineer. Checked our smoke and gas detectors. All in all a job well done.
Excellent all round experience
Having used boxt before, I knew they were good, but they have manage to improve!
From ordering boiler at 9am on Monday, and it being fitted and operational by 4pm on Wednesday - what’s to complain about?
Prices are spot on, and the plumber who fitted the boiler was excellent- on time, pleasant, and a really clean worker.

Poor customer experience and lack of communication from Boxt
Booked an AC installation online. Booking process was quick and simple and cost was reasonable. Install dates within 2 weeks were available, but I chose dates three weeks out that worked best for me. Website said it was a 2-day install.
Install was booked for Mon & Tues this week. Received a call from Boxt on Saturday to tell me that there was no engineer available for the Tuesday so they would come Wednesday instead. No further explanation was given and there didn’t seem to be any real attempt to find a solution to make the original booked dates work.
My AC installer, Shaun, had contacted me about an hour prior and hadn’t mentioned not being available on one of the days, so this news was a bit of a surprise.
Shaun was great - he turned up at 8am on Monday and was friendly, informative and worked non-stop in sweltering heat. We eventually managed to work out that it wasn't Shaun who couldn’t do Tuesday, but an electrician who had to come in after the install was complete to connect the outdoor unit to power.
Shaun finished the install within the 2 planned days and came back on the morning of day 3 to do some snagging, handover to the electrician and commission the system.
The whole of Wednesday went by and no electrician arrived. I contacted Boxt several times throughout the day (via the slow and frustrating online chat) but no resolution was found. Eventually mid-afternoon they assigned the job to a new electrician who called me immediately to say he wouldn’t be able to attend until Thursday afternoon.
It’s now Wednesday evening. I have a brand-new fully installed AC system, it’s 34 degrees outside and it’ll be another 24 hours before I can use it.
My 2-day install will have taken 4 days in total (if the electrician actually shows up tomorrow!). I’ve had to make arrangements to work from home for 4 days in a row, just so Boxt engineers can show up when they feel like it.
The level of communication from Boxt throughout has been poor and there doesn’t seem to have been any real attempt to go the extra mile to rescue a poor customer experience.
If it wasn’t for Shaun, this would be a 1 star review.

5 star service. Boiler installed two days after ordering. Engineer James was brilliant. He didn't stop for 7.5hours on the hottest day of the year. Carpets were protected and he cleaned up any mess before he left.

Very pleased overall
Easy to book online, with email and text reminders, but the engineer came in the morning, not afternoon as requested. We were at home anyway, but it could have been awkward if we had planned to be out. Otherwise very pleased - the engineer was efficient, friendly and explained everything clearly.

Wayne Tomlimson attended to replace HeatLink. Communication was fantastic. On arrival, he introduced himself and asked whether he should take off his shoes (very courteous). Wayne installed the new HeatLink and set the thermostat for me so I didn't have to do anything. Lovely pleasant polite gentleman. Thank you so much.
