What a Joke

I have never experienced such an unprofessional and poorly run company in my life. The communication is extremely bad — so bad that even giving 1 star feels far too generous. For more than a month, I have been waiting for my belongings to be picked up, and during this entire time I have received nothing but excuse after excuse after excuse.

Every time I contacted them, there was a new reason why it could not be done, with no clear information, no responsibility, and no solution. There was absolutely no proactive communication from their side, and I constantly had to chase them for updates.

After more than a month of waiting and being misled, I finally decided to cancel their service. Only then — suddenly — they responded and claimed they were coming to pick up my items. This reaction says everything about how this company operates.

Overall, this company is a complete joke. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid them if you value your time, your belongings, and basic professionalism.

No communication and NO BOX RECEIVED IN OCTOBER 2024?!?

Estamos esperando 1 caixa de Campinas que deveria ser entregue em outubro de 2024?!? Você não tem o direito de ligar para uma empresa de logística com esse atraso.
Vanessa Abreu e Claudio Souza não estão atendendo nossas ligações em Portugal. A menos que as comunicações sejam feitas nas próximas 24 horas, isso será escalado.

We have been waiting for 1box from Campinas that was supposed to be delivered in October 2024?!? You have no right to call you a logistics firm with this delay.
Vanessa Abreu and Claudio Souza are not answering our calls in Portugal. Unless communications are made in the next 24 hrs this will be escalated.

Do not use this company

Do not use this company.
I sent two boxes from London to São Paulo in October of last year and only received them 4 months later with many items removed from the boxes.
For over a month I tried to speak with Regiane in their Guarulhos' warehouse to pick up the two boxes. When the boxes finally arrived they were opened with missing items and placed in new boxes. I have filed a police report there in Brazil and cannot file one in the UK as I do not have Box Express container details so I can confirm with customs in Brazil what has been confiscated, if anything.
The team in Brazil contacted me a month later with someone who did not want to identify by name. Leonardo and Regiane were also on the call. The person (a man) claimed to be the owner of Box Express in Brazil.
First, I was informed that the container had not been inspected by customs. I had previously requested the container number so that I could verify if my personal items had been confiscated.
Then Leonardo confirmed that the container had been inspected by customs, but did not provide me with any documents. He said that my boxes had been opened because they were wet and all the items, which were packed in vacuum-sealed plastic, had been placed in another box.
I asked for the list of items confiscated by customs, as legally Box Express should have this list.
This person did not provide me with this information. Instead, they accused me of changing my narrative when in fact I am just requesting the same information.
I have been sending messages to Felipe and Emerson in their London, UK branch emailed, Brazil, Portugal, and Spain and until now have not had a decent explanation.
