Handmade leather goods from Lancashire, UK. Hello! My name is Andrew and I’m the founder and creator here at Bowland Leather. Bowland Leather was created out a desire to continue my family history. My grandad Bob was a cobbler and leather goods retailer and after he retired my parents took over the business. I grew up in this environment and it is all I've ever known. Sadly after 70yrs of trading the shop was no longer viable, unable to compete against cheaper lower quality imported products and a huge shift in shopping habits. As you can imagine leather is my life and I just couldn’t think of being in any other trade so Bowland Leather was born. My mission is to create high quality durable items that will last and last, not wear out in a short period of time. I create small leathergoods such as wallets cardholders, belts, bags, keyrings etc All my items are hand saddle stitched and finished, including bevelling, dieing and burnishing. Take care Andrew

Absolutely outstanding

I recently purchased a wallet from Bowland, and I have been thoroughly impressed with both the product and the overall experience.

The craftsmanship is immediately evident. The stitching is wonderful, precise, consistent, and clearly done with great care and attention to detail. It gives the wallet a real sense of durability while also enhancing its overall aesthetic. The leather itself is exceptional; it is rich in colour and wonderfully supple to the touch, making it a pleasure to use every day. There is a clear sense that high-quality materials have been carefully selected and expertly worked.

Equally noteworthy is the service. Andrew, the creator behind Bowland, is fantastic to work with. He is approachable, attentive, and clearly passionate about his craft. Communication was smooth throughout, and it was evident that he genuinely cares about both his products and his customers.

Overall, this is a beautifully made wallet backed by excellent personal service. I would highly recommend Bowland to anyone looking for a high-quality, thoughtfully crafted leather product.
