Great catalog, easy to use; hopefully supporting brick-and-mortar neighborhood bookshops. In 5+ years of using bookshop.org, no reason to complain ever came up. Sellers often add thank you note.
Company details
Written by the company
Bookshop.org is an online bookshop with a mission to financially support local, independent bookshops. We believe that bookshops are essential to a healthy culture. They are where authors can connect with readers, where we discover new writers, where children get hooked on the thrill of reading that can last a lifetime. They are also anchors for our communities -- owned, staffed, run and full of real people who have a genuine love of books and reading. As more and more people buy their books online, we wanted to create an easy, convenient way for you to get your books and support independent bookshops at the same time. If you want to support a specific bookshop, select them from our map and they’ll receive 30% of the cover price (or almost all of the profit) on your orders for a year. Otherwise, 10% of the cover price of your order will contribute to an earnings pool that will be evenly distributed among participating independent bookshops each month. By design, we give away the vast majority of our profit to bookshops, publications, authors and the many others who make up the thriving, inspirational culture around books and reading.

New Hope for the East End Orphans by…
New Hope for the East End Orphans by Glynis Peters ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Book 1 of a brand new WW 2 series. And I for one can not wait for book 2.
Chrissie is running a newsstand while her husband Jim is away fighting the war. Tragically her husband is killed and no sooner does she find out she's pregnant. Can she grieve the loss of her husband and still be happy and excited about having his baby? Could you?
Right from chapter 1 you will be an emotional mess, have tissues ready.
It draws you right in. Just the way a book should.
I don't want to give to much more away about the story. I will tell you this much, the way Glynis Peters words are written you will believe you are right there at East End, you will hear everything, smell everything and even taste it.
Pre-order your copy today for an October 26th release date. You'll want to be the first one to read it before your friends. 😉
