No idea how these guys have good reviews. They didn't proofread anything (for example if I wrote a correction like change it to say this "yadda yadda") the next iteration would literally have " change it to say this "yadda yadda"" on the page.

The constantly ask for money and say things like "I'm not asking for thousands of dollars, this is peanuts" to do things that they said were part of the package.

They can't get your book uploaded to ANY sites. I should have realized this when I searched the titles they advertise on Amazon and couldn't find any of them.

This is 100% a scam

At 91 years old, they took my $920 back in March and promised to complete my book. My book was already completed when i gave it to them. All they had to do was format it. Instead, they ruined and messed up my book and have never given me anything in return. Months later they said they needed more money.... Everything they promised, not only did they never give me anything for my money but begged me for more money.I told them I needed a refund and they refuse to. They will not return my calls. Found out they were a scam. They do this to people I found out. PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. STOP YOUR BANK PAYMENT AND TURN THEM IN AS FRAUD PLEASE. I DEALT WITH NAMES THERE LIKE MICHAEL HART, BARRY, RYANN AND HAZEL THEY ARE ALL FAKE NAMES. EVERY DAY THEY KEPT PROMISING THEY WOULD HAVE IT DONE THAT DAY AND IT NEVER HAPPENED. THEY HAVE NEVER KEPT ANY SERVICES PROMISED TO ME AND THEREFORE DISHONESTY. I NEED MY MONEY BACK. I HAD TO CANCEL MONTHS OF SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS BECAUSE WHAT THEY PROMISED THEY DID NOT DO. THEY CONTINUE TO DODGE MY PHONE CALLS. I TOLD THEM TO PLEASE REFUND OR I WOULD GIVE THEM A BAD REVIEW. I AM TURNING THEM IN TO ADULT PROTECTIVE SERVICES. I ALSO SUBMITTED THEM TO THE BBB. Let me know If you need more information on this. They will not let me give anyone my email address on this review.

A week ago, Book Proficients became my publisher of choice. They spent the day contacting me multiple times about getting the payment to them. I sent them the manuscript and was told their editors would get started right away.

It has been a week, and I have been told no later than Friday, which was yesterday, and still nothing. I don’t wish them ill, but I would appreciate their communicating better, and doing what they said they would do.

We signed an agreement where the company was obligated to publish a book and courses in 6 companies starting from Amazon Kindle. After more than a month nothing was done. I requested a refund according to the agreement. The company did not reply to me and did not return my calls. During the past month the company twice asked me to provide my SSN.

Working with Book Proficients was a great experience. Their team was knowledgeable and supportive, and they helped me to achieve my publishing goals.

My experience with this company was remarkable. They were nothing but professional and efficient. Thing were taken care of in a timely manner. I'm extremely satisfied and would highly recommend!
