Am I ever going to receive my purchase?
I would love to review the items I ordered but after 30+ days, I have yet to receive them. Interesting that the company has sent me to emails to review my purchase and it has not been delivered!

Responding 9 months later- terrible!!!
I love your product but you need to use a different shipping company. SpeedEx put my shipment in my mailbox instead of delivering it to my door which then caused the USPS to retrieve the package and charge me some enormous shipping AGAIN! That is my only issue with you. YOUR RESPONDING 9 MONTHS LATER. WILL NEBER PURCHASE GROM TJOS COMPANY AGAIN!

We are truly sorry for responding late here. We appreciate your advice, and surely will review on the shipping company that we use. Thanks for letting us know. And once again sorry for the inconvenience may have caused.
A labour of love
I purchased the Library of Books model for my 10 year old not realising how technical and tricky it was to assemble. It meant that I had to build all the books, shelves, furniture, artwork and structure myself and I LOVED IT!
I really enjoyed working quietly away creating these tiny, beautiful objects, so thoughtfully designed and a joy to build. My 10 year old loves it too. I'm already planning my next one! Thanks team.

Thank you so much for this lovely review. It sounds like the kit ended up being just as much a gift for you as it was for your 10-year-old! We’re so glad you enjoyed bringing all the tiny details to life and that you both love the finished result. We hope you enjoy your next build just as much.
Disappointed by quality
I was really disappointed by the quality of the materials in this book nook relative to others purchased. The pieces for the exterior box were warped which made gluing them together well nearly impossible. I was also really disappointed by how much glue this kit relied on. Other book books I’ve bought have a lot of pieces that snap together especially for the more structural parts. This one was entirely dependent on glue and paper which made many parts of it impossible. I threw it out.

We’re sorry the kit didn’t meet your expectations. This is one of our more advanced, hands-on kits, so it does require more gluing and paper assembly than some snap-together designs.
As the kit had already been opened and thrown away, we’re unable to inspect the reported issue or accept a return. For this reason, we cannot provide a refund on this basis.

I never got the package
I never got the package. Somebody called from their cell phone while I was at work and I gave them permission to hide the box in the bushes outside our apartment building (in an area not known for a lot of crime). When I saw the photo she took, I could see it was plainly visible to passersby, which I assume is why it was gone by the time I got home a few hours later.

We’re truly sorry to hear about the situation with your missing parcel — we understand how disappointing this must be.
After checking the delivery details, it appears that the parcel was delivered according to the instructions you provided to the courier, to leave it at your residence even when no one was present. In such cases, once the delivery has been completed as instructed, responsibility for the parcel rests with the delivery company and the recipient’s local security.
We sincerely regret that this has happened, but as the parcel was left as per your request, it is unfortunately beyond our control at this stage. We recommend contacting the delivery company directly to report the missing parcel and request their assistance in investigating the matter further.
Please know that we truly value your understanding and appreciate your support.
Good quality components
Good quality components. Able to make things slightly more from scratch than with other book nook suppliers do more satisfying in terms of a creative and careful hobby challenge. Amount of detail in the piece also very good. Instructions different to other companies but only took a few minutes to work the system out. Very happy with my purchase, thank you!

I should never have ordered
I should never have ordered. It took a month and a half for the wrong thing to arrive. There's no way this company is located in Colorado. Nor are they answering my e-mails. I was so excited to get this birthday present but the whole thing is beyond ruined. Worst experience I have EVER had ordering online.

I would give them a zero review but…
I would give them a zero review but unfortunately the least I could give is a one. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. VIRTUALLY NON EXISTENT. Sent email after email and no response. Finally they sent me a response saying to contact my carrier. Both the US CARRIER AND CHINA CARRIER stated to contact the seller. So, no one wants to take responsibility. Contacted my bank. Tried to file a complaint with the BBB but there is no listing of this company in Boulder, Colorado. Shocker! This is a scam! Do not buy!

We’re sorry to hear about your frustration. However, upon checking, you placed an order on January 5, 2025, which was immediately canceled and fully refunded. Despite this, we still shipped the parcel to you.
You later requested a second refund, but since the original payment was already refunded a month ago, we were unable to process an additional refund as we did not receive any further payment from you.
We understand your concerns and regret any confusion, but we assure you that we have fulfilled our obligations regarding your order. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out.
Scammers
Same experience as the other 1 star review. I never recieved my booknook and the shipping they gave me gave no updates. I tried emailing them to no avail and they have no other means of contacting them (shocker). Their tiktok has similar comments from other customers. I've raised a dispute with my bank - DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Edited to add: The company finally did respond to my PayPal complaint, refunded my charges, and shipped the item to me free of charge. I'm changing my rating to three stars (not five because of all the effort it took for me to get a satisfactory resolution.)
I've had a very bad experience with booknookworld. First, they promised to ship with USPS, but instead they shipped with a company I've never heard of; my order was never delivered; and now I cannot get them to reply to my phone or email messages. I've had to file a case with PayPal to dispute the charges to my account. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
