Very simple to use. Basically self explanatory. was able to use and benefit from the software on day one/ Low learning curve.

So far, the customer service has been great. Additionally, the review is for the tool itself. I thought I had my self-publishing biz covered with other tools, but when I moved to BookBeam I saw how powerful it is. I can quickly see the royalty on different keywords and I find extremely helpful the customer research for specific keywords. This is a tool that self-publishers absolutely need.

I’ve been using the free Lite version of the BookBeam Chrome extension, and it’s honestly super handy. It shows the average BSR, number of competitors, reviews, and average price for any keyword or book category.

The search volume and average monthly sales are only available in the paid version, but the Lite features are already very useful. You can also see the age of the books, which is a great way to spot how new or established a niche is.

In the Page Analysis tab, you not only get the rankings of books but can also click the green chart icon to view BSR sales history. This helps you spot trends and seasonality in sales, plus you can track price changes over time (great to see when an author raised or lowered their price). In the free version, you get 5 credits to use this history feature (I believe per month).

In the Statistics tab, you again see the average BSR, but also the highest and lowest BSR in that category. Paid users get even more valuable metrics such as average age, average page count, self-published vs. traditionally published breakdown, number of books with fewer than 50 reviews, number of books with more than 500 reviews, average review count, highest price, and lowest price. This is extremely helpful info for anyone researching niches.

Overall, even the free Lite version is packed with useful data for KDP publishers. It’s a great starting point, and upgrading unlocks even deeper insights.

Beambean does cost money, but it is well worth the expense. The step by step videos were very informative and helpful to a beginner like, so very glad that I made the purchase.

Bookbeam is my go-to tool for market research as a self-publisher. I'm so glad I discovered it. The Chrome extension helps me see what books are doing well on Amazon, while the niche finder tool helps me conduct keyword research in picking nonfiction topics to write about. I'm looking forward to trying out other features as well, including the listing optimizer.

I was honestly skeptical about paying this much for a tool as there are many competitors, but I decided to give their free trial a shot, and I was very impressed. The keyword search numbers seem more accurate than Helium10, just based on my own books and which keywords work and which don't. The Niche finder is super helpful. And actually the keyword filler, which I thought was pointless, has become one of my favorite tools since it allows you to easily target the top keywords.

I ended up buying a full year license and feel it's totally worth it.

The service is always updated and the support team always ready to solve problems. Maybe they should provide with more options of subscriptions, for instance a pay as you go option if there is not at the moment but for sure is the best service for that I founded so far.

Customer service is real and timely. There are real people managing this business. I'm certain the owners are filthy rich, but well deserved it is.

It's a nice platform for book authors and has useful functionalities for those who want to write and publish. However the functionalities it offers don't change over the years and it has not been adding new ones, which would be way more useful.

Bookbeam is the most comprehensive platform currently available for self-publishers. Its tools are very powerful for performing the entire niche profitability analysis for Amazon KDP. My favorite tool is the one that searches for profitable categories, as it's the only one capable of finding the best categories in which to place your book to quickly obtain the best-seller label.
