Exploitative scam that operates as a middle man to Uber. Avoid at all costs, will be reporting to local council and police.
How I wish I had read these reviews before using this company. I booked a taxi one evening to get a taxi for the following morning. After four hours and two phone call on my part to enquire what was happening, the booking still had not been confirmed, I had no option other than to cancel the booking. I thought there might be a small charge for admin, but I have had to say goodbye to £40.50. They will not give you a full refund unless you have booked 90 days in advance. A complete scam.
I have given this company the lowest score I can.
This is a scam and I will be reporting this site to Trading Standards. They fail to book a taxi for you then refuse to give you a refund. If you are looking at this review because they also ripped you off, I suggest you do the same
I agree with the previous reviewer. This company is a complete scam and needs to be avoided. I booked a taxi, realised I had been forwarded to a "consolidator" from what appeared to be a local taxi firm. Immediately called to cancel and told they'd only refund 55%. Then sent me an email for me to "confirm" cancellation where it stated a 22% refund. Have disputed the full payment with my credit card company who will investigate: no service offered / no cancellation policy on the website / no contract !!!
Avoid if you don’t want to be scammed! This company has an exploitative cancellation policy and aggressively unhelpful customer service. I booked an expensive journey using a street address (not postcode – the system did not request one) and received a call to clarify the destination. I was told the wrong destination had been booked, and my options were (a) to pay to cover the difference or (b) to be refunded only 55%. The error was identified within 20 minutes and already I was ineligible for a refund, for a booking over 5 weeks away. This company is making use of a fault in their system to scam customers. Beware!
OMG..avoid this firm if you can. Two trips booked to and from Heathrow. The first trip no driver arrived at all.... to be fair money was refunded quickly. Thus prepared to give a second chance... today, having paid for a Meet & Greet the driver said to meet him in a car park.... I asked which one and he said 'don't worry I'll come round you'. He didn't! 10 minutes later he is still (apparently) waiting in a car park..although at no point has he advised which one!
And he still wanted me to go to him..... well, it's called Meet & Greet for a reason....
Told him to forget it and got an uber instead.
Clearly the guys running the web site need to complete more due diligence on their taxi drivers, and explain what their services are.
