Best (/least bad :D) blood test I've ever had
I had the best (read: least bad 😉 ) blood test I've ever had at The Phlebotomy Centre.
After I had booked my appointment something came up and I needed to rearrange it. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very helpful so changing the date and time of the appointment was no hassle.
When I arrived at the clinic on the day of my test they had read through my order notes and knew that I am scared of needles. The lady on reception and the phlebotomist, Holly, were kind and patient with me throughout my visit. They didn't rush me, explained everything they were doing, and made sure to only go ahead when I said to. I am very grateful to them both for making the experience as easy as it could be for me.
The clinic itself is clean, comfortable, temperate, and well-located near Bolton train station.
I never thought I'd be saying this but I'm considering booking in for another, different, test sometime soon to capitalize on the good experience that I've had and to try and work my way out of my phobia.
Once again, I'm very grateful to the staff at The Phlebotomy Centre and I would recommend its services to anyone.
