While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

I don't know what that other guy was…

I don't know what that other guy was talking about, that he had manually use Davinci??? I used blurme without no issue and I don't know anything about photoshop. It is very straight forward and when they say free, they mean it. But we must be reasonable, how can you not expect them to lock out some premium features.

blurme is good and easy webtool to use. I can upload and at most, all I am doing is controlling the strength of the blur.

Ruins video footage

I'm sure this tool is ok for surveillance , but it absolutely failed on video footage for editing. The color balance, depth, and color of the video changed dramatically and the blurred clips were unusable in the video. I had to manually mask them in DaVinci.

To make matters worse, I followed the FAQ to request a refund, or speak to support. Their contact form is completely broken and triggers a network error and no other way to reach them. If I could have spoken to them, this review wouldn't have been necessary.

Hi Bill. We want to clarify that BlurMe does offer a fully functional free trial — no payment required.

All new users receive initial free credits to blur videos and images using our AI tools. After those free credits are used, you can continue blurring for free but with a watermark applied to the output. Still no payment required and no hidden steps.

If you were taken to the pricing page, it’s likely you clicked the “Upgrade” button by mistake. The free version remains fully open and accessible at any time via https://www.blur.me/studio/.

There is no paywall blocking access to a trial, and no need to upgrade to start using BlurMe. We hope you will give it a try again and see for yourself.
