I’m absolutely furious with the quality of my Blundstone boots and the way the company has handled my complaint. I paid £150 for a pair of boots I expected to last years, not six weeks. After just a month and a half of very light weekend wear, the leather is already full of deep creases and has developed a large crack. These were meant to be my casual going-out boots, not something I’d be putting through heavy work — yet they look worse than shoes I’ve owned for years.

What’s even more disappointing is Blundstone’s response. Having bought the shoes through Mastershoe shop they said they would contact blundstone with the issue, I was hoping for some kind of support or explanation, they essentially washed their hands of the issue and blamed it on “lack of care.” Lack of care? In six weeks? I’ve treated these boots better than any others I own, and I can’t believe a brand with this reputation thinks this level of durability is acceptable.

For the price I paid, I expected reliability, craftsmanship, and customer service that stands behind its product. Instead, I’m left with cracked leather, a useless pair of boots, and a company that refuses to take responsibility. Honestly, I’ll never buy from Blundstone again, and I’d warn others to think twice before spending this kind of money on boots that clearly can’t handle even light, occasional use in UK climate .

I love my Blundstone boots. Supremely stylish and comfortable they can be worn in any way you choose but I won’t be buying them again. I’d urge anyone thinking of buying a pair to think again if you want boots that really last and don’t have disintegrating soles. Admittedly, I’ve had mine a while but I look after them and whilst the uppers are still like new the soles have literally fallen apart.

Paid £185 for a pair of boots in January 2025. After 4 months of light use, boots leaking water. No offer of replacement, even though they have a lifetime warranty. Advised to use a waterproof treatment, I have been very careful with these boots, with regard to cleaning and waterproofing. Would advise against buying this brand. My Sorrell boots lasted years. No wet feet on country walks.

Amazingly the quick delivery and beautiful quality. The fit is amazing and super comfortable. Very very impressed.

Paid $75 for 1-2 day shipping, emailed to confirm the boots would arrive by the date needed for a trip and let them know the date they were needed and specifically asked that they not be sent expedited if they would not arrive within the dates in the email. Blundstone sent the boots a day late, and is refusing to refund my expedited $75 ( a ridiculous amount for 1-2 days.) Andrew at customer service is curt and impolite.

I bought a pair of Women's boots #1671 from the black friday sale. I was excited to receive it but when I had received it, it didn't necessary fit my size so I filed for a return. I had sent my package back on 12/9/24 and blundstone started processing my return on 12/16/24. It has almost been a month and I still have not received my return. I emailed customer service inquiring an update on my boots and it has almost been a week and have not heard back from them. I am someone who does not normally write reviews but I will say that returns should NOT be taking a whole month to have a customer get their refund back. I understand it is the holiday and scheduling might be slower but again it should not take a whole month for a customer to get a refund back. There is also no way to talk to someone on the phone everything is through email. I will not be buying from blundstone again due to their terrible customer service.

I ordered a new pair of Blundstones over Thanksgiving when they were on sale. Ordered the wrong size, so contacted customer service regarding return/exchange. They don’t do exchanges, so you have to reorder, which means I lost the sale price, which was about $40! When I reached out to customer service again, I was told via email 24 hours later, that it should have shown up once I began the return process. Huh??? Nothing there when I “started the return process.” It’s absolutely ridiculous that you can’t speak with a human being and that every email response takes 24 to receive. So if I order a new pair, I’m out $40ish bucks. Thanks for caring, Blundstone.

No Stars – Blundstone is a Total Con!

I’m beyond disappointed with both the quality of my Blundstone boots and their customer service. My girlfriend bought me a pair just 10 months ago, and after only one winter season of city use, they are completely falling apart. I treated them properly with the official Blundstone repair kit, yet the leather has already started to split and crack at the creases, leading to large gaps and holes. On top of that, the rubber sole is separating from the boot, making them unwearable.

What’s worse is the experience with customer service. Despite claiming to offer a “lifetime warranty” and promoting extreme durability, they immediately accused us of improper care—even suggesting we put the boots on a radiator! This is laughable. These boots were stored properly on a shoe rack, alongside other shoes that are all still in perfect condition. They didn’t even inspect the boots before making these ridiculous claims.

Honestly, my normal trainers and running shoes have shown far more durability and a longer lifespan than these overpriced Blundstones.

Blundstone markets itself on toughness and longevity, but it’s all a con. Their warranty is meaningless, and their approach to customer support is to blame the customer without any investigation. I am reporting Blundstone to Trading Standards for this matter.

Avoid at all costs. Terrible product, terrible customer service, and overall a big scam!

40 year old Blunnies repaired like new, …..in the UK. da da dah.!

I've been through it all, disintegration, the Sarah connection at Blundstone Ozz dropping your calls leaving you on hold, whilst calling from the UK, the heart wrenching decision to bin the disintegrated beautiful boots through snow and salt disintegration, eventually out they went, I still think of those waxed glazed colours of the uppers but fear not I'm a 5 starrer again buy your boots with confidence I've found a repairer in the UK and what a job he made of my 40 year old rubber original 500s, they have been everywhere and I mean everywhere I've even worn them for two years with cracks in the souls but now they are repaired and what a job he made of them.
Buy your boots with confidence Antonio Gonzalez the master cobbler is in WestBourne Bournemouth by the bus stop.

£52 Chunky Soles and heels and kept my Blundstone embossed signature on the instep and heels.
Wonderful news we have a Blundstone Boot Cobbler in the UK.
It might not be all the usual got have heat nonsense it's just a solid repair job that's all I ever wanted, a bit of cobbling truth and now I've found it in the Poole Rd.

My husband purchased a new pair. Paid extra for expedited delivery. Should've arrived last week. Still no boots. ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! You can't speak to human. You can barely get through their repetitive, go nowhere, phone system. Headed to bank to cancel the payment. If they were having an issue, TELL US! We're compassionate souls. Taking money for products not delivered and zero communications,.... We'll let the credit company deal with you. Tighten up or what WAS a decent business is headed for the outhouse.

Both 2 pair, sent both back. First was really small and super uncomfortable the top inside part.. try to order another model that was unisex, note I wear number 4 and few shoes I wear 3.. blundstone number 4 was really tight and so tiny on my ankle, I'm really skinny so not sure how can anyone else fit in there...the sole was full of little Bublé, they say is normal, but let me tell you, if I pay this much for a pair of boots I don't want Bublé on it. They look really pretty but that's it..no more..

That's two pairs of Blundstones gone in the same way. Warranty is apparently only 6 months (seemingly regardless of the fact that the materials are clearly incorrectly specified). I have had various Blundstones for over 30 years first few pairs properly worn out and no complaints from me.
However seems last ten years something seriously wrong with their product materials. I will not buy Blundstones again, shame as Blundstones were once a great product.....

Purchased two pairs from a retailer - love them both. So comfy. No product issues so far and I have worn one pair for 12 months probably 3/4 times a week.

Although comfortable after less than a year of pretty minimal use and frequent maintenance the leather ripped on one of my boots. It ripped near where it meets the sole, the upper hadn't come apart from the sole; instead, the leather had ripped.

This obviously seems like a defect in the leather as I've never seen this happen with any other similar boots. I then reached out to Blundstone through the contact form on their site and never heard anything back. Will be shopping elsewhere for a replacement.

I didn't purchase from the blundstone website but my blundstone black leather boots are the best boots I've ever owned. I. A 6.5 for extra width. Worn from September to May practically every day and for everything including gardening, long walks, pub, easy to drive in. Look great with a decent polish and wipe down. I added some sheepskin insoles for extra comfort but they were wearable from the moment I put them on. Very worthy investment.

I bought a pair of steel toe boots in the January sale and although they were fantastic quality, the sizing wasn't quite right and I had to return them. The process was straight forward enough and I got refunded in a matter of days.

It would be great if EU sizes were listed alongside UK/AU ones, because I've found that they are a more accurate prediction of my foot size than the others.

I've since bought a pair from a bricks and mortar shop and couldn't be more pleased with them. Great quality and semi-indestructible!

Lovely looking shoes,but not suitable for wide feet as they advertise. Returns center looks good but both times my money has not released in a timely matter. They have had my return for a month now and still no sign of my cash.

Online customer service team were absolutely amazing. Firstly when dealing with my quite niche situation but then also when I sent the wrong item back, they dealt with it promptly, professionally and in a friendly way. 10/10 service.

What a con. Tried to order a pair of boots in their online sale. Despite putting in 2 different card details - the website kept on rejecting my order. Kept on getting emails informing me that I had not completed my order. Tried again and again with the same response. Tried to phone customer service at least 3 times. Despite leaving massages - No response at all. How on earth do these people do business.
