Blueprint LSAT prep - Spencer Robins

My experience with Blueprint LSAT prep course, taught by Spencer Robins, was great! I work during the week, so 2-three hour classes with additional homework was quite an undertaking. Nevertheless, the course provided ample flexibility, and I felt prepared to take the upcoming November 2020 LSAT Flex.

This preparation is in a large part due to Spencer, as well as co-teachers John Scoggin and Jason Crandal. I cannot thank you enough. I will be extending my class to continue preparation as I intend to also take the January 2021 exam.

A+ Customer Service and Lessons

I had a situation where life was being ridicuiously rough, and I was not able to take the exam when I was supposed to. This meant that my class expired before I was able to actually take the LSAT. Blueprint service OFFERED to give me a free extension so that I could study in the days leading up to the exam.

Not only is their content fantastic (the first lesson increased my score by over 10 points on practice tests), but their support is phenominal. I would highly recommend this program to anyone looking to prepare for the LSAT.

Blueprint experience: Instructor Spencer Robins

I had a great experience with the 6 week live online course. It was stressful because of how much content is covered so quickly, however, the bulk of my good experience was largely due to my instructor, Spencer Robins. Not only is he an excellent instructor, he made the class much more enjoyable than i thought possible. He kept the class engaged in every session and although the sessions were 3 hours long twice a week, I still looked forward to class because of the atmosphere Spencer created. If anyone is looking to take blueprint I would strongly recommend looking to take Spencer Robins. Our co-instructors were John Scoggin and Jason Crandal (?) who were also extremely helpful throughout the course. They deserve praise and I would recommend taking them as well.

Spencer Robins was the best instructor!

My experience with Blueprint was AMAZING!!! I took a live online course with Spencer Robins and he was simply GREAT. He was so energetic and funny through all the lessons. He was able to make even the hardest questions on the LSAT seem easy. I've seen so much improvement. For anyone who is on the fence, you will NOT regret it! I recommend Spencer a million times and would take his class again in a heartbeat!

Great Instructors Spencer Robins and Dylan Gadek

I have found Blueprints LSAT Online Course through my friend. I have science background with zero knowledge about logical games, logical reasoning, LSAT etc when I started this course. I got so much progress within 1.5month with twice in a week course. Spencer is a great instructor with kind, friendly, carrying personality and always ready to help any questions we have. I also joined Dylan Gadek's office hours for game settings and logical conclusions. He is also amazing instructor to teach very complicated problems in the simplest way. Also, the recorded video lectures with cartoon characters are really fun way learning experience. Thanks all BluePrint team!

Chose Blueprint just for Spencer Robins!

Spencer has been an extremely engaging, inspiring, & AWESOME. I found out about him through a friend of mine. She took his prep course and scored highly. I was planning to take an in-person class because I’m in Westwood, but covid! Virtual learning is no barrier for the results Spencer helps to provide. Especially in a virtual setting, engagement is key and Spencer is hilarious and will easily keep you engaged for three hours. The classes zoom by! Pun intended!! Thanks again, Spencer, Jason, and John!!!

154 --> 170 thanks to Spencer Robbins and Dylan Gadek

I highly recommend blueprint and specifically the instructor Spencer Robbins. I started out with a 154 and ended up getting a 170 on the October flex. Spencer is a great instructor. He makes it fun and interesting too. I highly recommend the live online class format also bc it's nice to have a little community of other test takers. I also did some supplemental tutoring with Dylan Gadek who I also highly recommend! If you sign up for supplemental tutoring along with the live class you get a good deal too.

My instructor Linette Danaiata was amazing!

My instructor Linette Danaiata was incredibly knowledgable and helpful in preparing for the LSAT! With her guidance, I increased my score by 18 points!! I'm super happy with the instruction and the personal attention given by Linette. She was willing to go the extra mile to make sure we understood the material and actually had fun with it! It contributed greatly to my mindset on test day and I'm happy to say I have no regrets in signing up for Linette's class.

Great class and great teacher!

Great class and great teacher - Dylan Gadek - I ended up getting a 170 with about three months of studying which I was really happy with. Blueprint has a great interface for practicing and taking practice tests which made me very prepared for test day.

My score increased from being in the…

My score increased from being in the mid-150s in my diagnostic to a 174 in the August LSAT-Flex. All the practice I did was through Blueprint's interface, which helped me identify my weaknesses and drill them till I got better! I also would not have been able to improve so much without the help of my instructor, Chris Whyte, who's energetic words of encouragement and thorough lessons helped keep me going over the weeks.

I absolutely loved Blueprint

I absolutely loved Blueprint! I tried other free resources and got nowhere with my studies. Blueprint allowed me to see progress. All of the instructors are top-tier, not just my class instructor. The office hours are so helpful and everyone is rooting for you. My class instructor, Chris Whyte, was so clear and accessible. I loved my experience with Blueprint. Definitely worth the investment.

Online Anytime - Convenient and Effective!

I cannot recommend Blueprint highly enough!
I took my first practice exam in June, and got a diagnostic score of 161. After using Blueprint's online anytime course I scored a 175 on the August LSAT flex. I could not have done it without the flexible schedule and engaging videos! I studied for the LSAT while also doing a summer internship, and the flexible schedule allowed me to balance my workload and ensure I was getting all the study time in that I needed.
Another thing I loved about Blueprint was the free proctored exams. I was really nervous about the virtual administration of the August LSAT-flex, and the practice proctored exam helped put my mind and ease and get used to the format.
Finally, the build-your-own practice sets were so helpful in the weeks right before the test. I used them to review concepts that needed extra attention, as well as practice full-length sections. Thank you Blueprint!

Material is good, but NOT worth the 1k+ price. Khan Academy does it better.

Honestly the material is good, but not worth the price of the course. You can get free better khan academy practice for no cost that offers more. The live online courses at blueprint are nothing but an instructor zooming through important details that you then need to go back and re-learn on your own, they also refuse to send out the slides with info on them to help you stay on track. The pre recorded lectures are amazing, but again, not worth the 1k+ you spend on the course. I wish I had gone the khan academy route and didnt waste my time.

Blueprint Online Anytime

Update: I have now spoken with representatives at Blueprint and I do believe they are working to make the class better. They have taken down offensive videos and are working on the tech bugs throughout the system. In addition, they are now required to offer LawHub through their subscription, which will give students access to all the practice tests through LSAC.

Original Review:
The Blueprint online anytime course is overpriced and overrated. The course is riddled with technological problems - cut off words, lack of video explanations when one is clearly referenced, and more than a few typos - that are ridiculous for the amount of money that the course costs. On top of that, I found there to be radically too few practice tests you can attempt on the platform. I had access to nowhere near the amount of practice tests that I needed to improve my score, and had to find more elsewhere. The videos lessons themselves are full of bad, and sometimes insensitive, jokes. All of this really took away from my study experience, and I find myself 7 months down the line and with no real improvement in my LSAT score. I wanted to share this experience because I was very swayed to go with Blueprint after reading so many good reviews, but after the experience I had, I would not use it again if I could go back. I feel that Blueprint takes advantage of stressed out students who are willing to pay the big bucks for a good LSAT prep platform, but does not deliver a course worthy of over $200+/month.

One of the Best LSAT Prep Courses

Blueprint is a test prep course centered around creating an environment that is extensive in prep work for the LSAT but also remains light and fun for all of his students. The tutor Chris Whyte embodies that Blueprint teaching method. From Logic Games to Reading Comprehension, he is able to explain every necessary tactic and strategy you need to conquer the LSAT, all while finding space for a perfect music reference. And as an avid fan of music myself, all of his jokes, examples, and mnemonic made all of the difference.

Chris Whyte - 10/10 instructor

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Blueprint LSAT this Summer thanks to their exceptional and responsive staff, especially Chris Whyte. Our classes were online, however, Chris made it a point every week to listen to our troubleshoots and was able to provide possible remedies while also instilling confidence in all of us. Classes were long, but they did not feel as such due to Chris's ability to involve the class and make it feel as though we were all in the same room.

Chris Whyte was great!

Chris Whyte was an extraordinary lecturer who made LSAT topics engaging and fun. While some of Blueprint's instructors were hard to follow during office hours, class with Chris was always straight forward, clear, direct, and organized. He was prompt with responses and is the reason my score went from a 146 baseline to a 163 on test day. Thank you, Chris!
