I started with Bluebird care nearly 2 years ago now.
When I first started, despite being in care for a long time, my confidence was near enough shattered.
With the absolute best support from all the office staff, that has completely changed.
So much has changed in the last year and honestly its been for the better.
We now have a wonderful manager who is not only supportive but listens and guides when needed.
We also have new directors who have just changed everything for the better and made staff happy with their honesty and integrity.
It is like being part of a crazy blended family where everyone looks out for each other and above everything they put the customers first.

I cant recommend Bluebird enough. If you are passionate and caring and willing to do little things to put a smile on someone's face then Bluebird is the place to do it.

It's been now five months working with this company and absolutely LOVE it. The fellow carers are amazing and so is the management. Friendly and understanding and helpful in manyyyy ways. Never once felt like I didn't belong and was always made felt welcomed. Glad to be a part of an amazing team. REALLY grateful. 💕

I have only been working for Bluebird for just over a month now but I can honestly say I’ve never enjoyed a job as much as I have working here. Being completely new to care work was quite daunting but with the fantastic training I’ve had from Bluebird and my lovely colleagues in the Boston team, I am starting to gain confidence in myself from day to day. I am excited to gain more experience and knowledge and also to see what opportunities I can gain from Bluebird. If you’re looking for an excellent care company who genuinely cares about both their customers and staff whether you’re new to care or experienced, I can’t recommend Bluebird enough! I’d recommend Bluebird to my family and friends if I or anyone I knew needed a care package as it’s clear to see this company do genuinely care about getting the best care possible for their customers and they’re not just another number to tick off!!

We are really pleased with the care Mum has received. Mum really likes the carers and they know her well and are lovely with her. The office staff are really responsive and very helpful and supportive. I would definitely recommend

We have been using Bluebird since the beginning of 2024 having been highly recommended them by my uncle who had engaged Bluebird over many years to help look after his wife. They visit our 90 year old mother 3 times a day helping her get dressed, make meals, help with exercises, tidy up, look after laundry, help with medications and lots of other tasks. They have a task flow management system which ensures there is a seamless handover between carers and also allows us to monitor how mum is by reading their call notes via an App. They try to schedule as many visits to as small a group of carers as possible, allocating favourites, such as Deline Mwavumisa, (Del), who is just simply wonderful; always cheerful, bubbly and so kind and caring. The office based team, and especially Lisa, and including Jess and Kelly are lovely, very responsive and always going the extra mile to help our mum! With Bluebirds support system mum has been able to live independently at her home of 35 years and she is happy and well looked after. My brother and I would highly recommend Bluebird to anyone looking for home care support! They are simply the best!

We brought Bluebird Care in to help my 85 year old neighbour after a fall. They come morning and evening to do personal care, get her dressed and prepare her breakfast and dinner. I cannot fault them. They are extremely reliable, always arrive with a big smile, are professional and kind. My neighbour looks forward to them coming. It takes so much pressure off me knowing that they go the extra mile to make sure my neighbour is safe, well fed, clean and cared about. I’ve dealt with many care companies and Bluebird are by far the best.

The team take the time to understand the needs and put in place care to suit, making personal efforts, which are lovely to see. It pleases us that we have great care for our aging parents.

Amazing team of people from taking my first enquiry, to visiting mum and developing right care package, giving ingenious suggestions when we hit challenges. Very caring and kind carers who leave detailed thoughtful notes everyday for me online including on the the things they know I worry about and stop and chat to mum. I realise now that home care is much more than just the visit itself and I think Bluebird is worth every penny. Hugely relieved to have them. Would definitely recommend.

The carers who visited my mother were truly wonderful – consistently kind, patient, respectful, and professional. They took the time to get to know her as an individual, not just as someone needing care. Their genuine compassion and attentiveness were incredibly comforting, not only to her but to our entire family. They ensured she felt safe, listened to, and valued, which made a real difference to her quality of life. It was clear that they weren’t just doing a job – they genuinely cared.

In addition to the carers, I must also highlight how fantastic the office staff have been. Whether I had questions about scheduling, changes in care needs, or just needed a bit of reassurance, they were always friendly, approachable, and quick to respond. Communication was seamless and professional, and I always felt like I was being listened to and supported. They made sure everything ran smoothly and that the care package adapted as my mother’s needs evolved.

Bluebird Care have shown time and again that they put dignity, respect, and compassion at the heart of what they do. I cannot thank them enough for the difference they’ve made to my mother’s life – and mine. It is rare to find such a well-run, caring, and responsive service, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for outstanding home care support for a loved one.

My mother has received care with Bluebird Care Croydon for over 5 years. The management team have always been supportive, approachable and work with me to give my mother the best care in her home environment.
The carers are always sympathetic to her needs and carry out their duties according to the care plan which is updated regularly. Any concerns regarding my mother are reported immediately to management who liaise with me.
Both my mother and I feel she is benefitting from the best care considering her circumstances.

Bluebird give exceptional care and service. The staff are very professional and always go the extra mile to make sure their clients are looked after. Kate has done an outstanding job recently in arranging live-in care for my parents and all of the staff in the
Winchester office, whom I have had contact with recently, have been extremely helpful and kind.

We employed Bluebird as we had previously had a good experience. This could not have been more different. We had lots of different carers who all came at different times each week, they struggled to follow instructions, some barely spoke to my Mum and one in particular would ‘bark’ instructions at her. There were a couple of good ones, but unfortunately this wasn’t enough.
There was very little understanding of dementia and despite best efforts of the manager, things did not improve.
We changed provider and things instantly improved.

The carers have physically injured my 92 year old Grandfather on numerous occasions. They constantly lie on their reports about timings and have even accused family members of foul things behind their backs instead of admit their own faults. If you attempt to report this any of this to their office, they will try to gaslight you in an attempt to save their own skin. AVOID!

Bluebird Care provided 24/7 live in care for my elderly relative before she moved to residential care.
She was treated with kindness and respect.

Bluebird is not only good, excellent,or great, IT'S SUPERB, last few years I have been working in different companies looking for perfect life-work balance, and I have found Bluebird, where management team , carers, organisation of work, support from management are just beyond of excellence. Management there always available ready to support , listen, guide and appreciate work and effort. I'm shortly in Bluebird but already feel like in family, the team is professional, well trained, experienced, supportive, kind and friendly. I'm very happy, lucky and honoured to be part of Bluebird!

Used them several times to prepare food for my husaband for short periods when I am away. This time left written instruction to use packet of frozen stir fry from freezer to cook + rice or noodles to go with, sandwich for evening and leave out pasty for morning. Also to make a flask of coffee.Carer asked my disabled husb to go to kitchen to help him cook it. Rang as cdnt find frozen stuff in fridge. Eventually got him to look in freezer & he said he had it & shd he put it in boiling water. I explained how to cook it & told him to let husb choose rice or noodles. He gave my husband a plate of rice [cooked entire packet] with some cold brocolli. Then gave him a large frying pan of plain noodles, which my husband didn't want. Left house with no sandwich, coffee or snack for morning. When I found out later I rang their emergency line. Man apologised & said wd take it up in the morning. This no help as my husband left with no food for evening & morning. He eventually agreed to send someone to make a sandwich. When I got home next day the frozen veg was still in the freezer, don't know where he got the brocolli.
Nice staff come round to assess your needs and circumstances & give appearance of a professional organisation. When the carers come it is a different story. On an earlier date the carer couldn't understand how to take a fish pie out of the freezer & microwave it. Instead she took out 4 pieces of frozen salmon, microwaved it, & gave it to my husband lukewarm with nothing else.

Bluebird care has been an exceptional experience, treating employees with respect and dignity, as well as customers.

I’ve worked for bluebird care for a while now and i can honestly say its been an amazing company. I work as a live in carer and the company has gone above and beyond with supporting me as an employee.This is a very supportive and caring team that provides very good care . Working with them genuinely feels like home .
