Ruined my Valentine's Day flower…
Ruined my Valentine's Day flower delivery. I ordered roses for my GF a week before Valentines Day. I got the order confirmation # and everything.
Come Valentines Day (today) and my GF sends me pics of the beautiful flowers. But they were not pics of what I ordered. So I looked into it, to see if maybe they screwed up and sent the wrong bouquet. I log into Bloomnation, got to view orders, and see that my order was cancelled last week!!! Those beautiful flowers were sent to her by a friend, not me.
I searched and searched my gmail. I found the order confirmation, but there was NO order cancellation message from either Bloomnation nor the local florist. NOTHING. Not a single email since the order confirmation.
It's too late NOW to order from anywhere. Had Bloomnation informed me of the cancellation I could have made other arrangements with another florist or service. But they never let me know. And honestly, since the flowers are taken care of by the local florist and bloomnation is the middle man. Bloomnation had ONE JOB, and they failed.
So now, while she gets bouquets from her friends, I look like the chump BF who got her no flowers on Valentines Day.
I really would have been better off just not ordering a damned thing. At least I wouldn't have told her to stay close to home because she's getting a delivery from me, only to look bad in the end.
I will NEVER use Bloomnation again.
Florist partner of Bloomnation
In May 2023, I made the decision to sign up with Bloomnation.com, enticed by the promise of a substantial boost in business through their platform. This decision has turned out to be not just disappointing, but deeply frustrating.
The core of my discontent lies in the vast gap between what Bloomnation promised and what has been delivered. I was under the impression, as per their marketing, that my subscription, costing me $200 a month, would actively drive a significant number of orders. This was the pivotal reason I chose to invest in their service. However, the reality has been starkly different. In several months, I've received fewer than 10 orders, making the investment feel not only wasteful but also deceptive.
What adds to the injury is the realization that the service I'm paying $200 monthly for amounts to little more than basic webpage hosting – a service that's available elsewhere at a fraction of the cost. The feeling of being taken advantage of is hard to shake off. The cost-to-benefit ratio here is staggeringly disappointing, and I find myself questioning the integrity of their business practices.
To others considering a subscription with Bloomnation.com, my advice is to tread very cautiously. My experience suggests that the value proposition they offer is grossly overstated. Make sure you fully understand what you're getting into and perhaps look into more cost-effective and transparent alternatives.
If I could leave zero stars I would
If I could leave zero stars I would! I ordered a deluxe flower arrangement through this company’s website to be delivered to a family member the following day for their birthday. No delivery was ever made due to no communication from one florist to another through this system. I called the original florist who tried to sort it out for me with BloomNation and they said they would refund me the $121 that I paid. I then get an email from BloomNation that says my “refund” amount is $0. Another call was made and I was assured that yes, I had been refunded. My bank processed that payment immediately and sent the funds. Three days later there is no indication, even in pending transactions, that they ever issued a refund. I now have to go through my bank to try to get my money back from this unscrupulous company. Aside from the embarrassment of no gift for my daughter in law’s birthday, now I have the additional stress of having to fight to get my refund. Buyer beware! Next step is opening a case with BBB.
