As a mortgage broker, when a client gives you a bottle of wine to say thanks... You know everyone involved did a great job and the product is the right option for the client.

The Bloom website doesn't note that Bloom lending policy discriminates against those of us with rural properties. It also says up to 55% but doesn't note that you have to be in your 90's to get that amount. Deceived and disappointed.

As a broker its imperative that we work with lenders that have excellent communication and great customer service with our clients. My clients felt very well supported throughout the process. The communication with Bloom is excellent with regular updated between all parties, they were fast and efficient through the whole transaction. Highly recommend for all my reverse mortgage clients! The experience was quite stress free considering it was a big step for us. Bob was very responsive and helpful. There was a glitch with a government document which we couldn't solve ourselves and Bob took care of for us. Just wanted to send you a quick review. I sent in a reverse mortgage to another company as per my client's request. NEVER AGAIN!!! They have been terrible to deal with and the deal is taking forever. Agent quite nice. up to 55% if you live in a city. Misleading to say the least. $900,000 value looking for 39%. offered 25% because I don't live in a city. Very disappointed.

My partner of a number of years one day told me that he was leaving and that I was the worst thing that had ever happened in his life. Contact a lawyer. As with any separation and the distribution of the assets I was left with a new financial reality, much of savings were gone.
