I have been using Blockonomics for several years as my Bitcoin merchant payment processor, and my overall experience has been excellent.

Recently, I made a technical configuration mistake on my side. I linked my Electrum wallet to Blockonomics for merchant transactions, but I continued using the same wallet to receive personal Bitcoin payments. Since Blockonomics automatically monitors all incoming transactions to the linked wallet and applies the standard 1% merchant processing fee, the system correctly treated those personal payments as merchant transactions.

This was entirely my oversight. The wallet connected to Blockonomics should be used exclusively for merchant activity, and I fully understand that the system cannot distinguish between personal and business payments.

After contacting support and explaining the situation, their team carefully reviewed my account history and refunded the mistakenly charged fees as account credit. The communication was professional, transparent, and efficient.

I truly appreciate their fairness and responsiveness. After several years of using their service, this experience only strengthened my trust in Blockonomics.

They just gave me a ton of instructions that were close to impossible if you’re not a coder right after my purchase. I have confirmation numbers and everything and been trying to get my payment out of blockonomiks for 3 months! Then they write me saying they don’t have my money and they don’t know why I was directed to their website after purchase ect…. Horrible experience

I'm very happy with the service provided by Blockonomics, mainly because they have a service where you just give them your xpub, so don't actually touch your funds. They provide the infrastructure, notifications and invoicing and no real risk to you (as they never have your funds) and have very prompt support.

I would've lost all my funds if it wasn't so well managed.

The team helped me for at least 40 emails and we managed to recover everything.

I took time to test their WordPress (Woocommerce) plugin and it worked. I made a test payment with Bitcoin Cash and received it on Electron Cash app. More importantly, I was able to withdraw the cash from Electron Cash app to my external wallet and I got it. You guys are great! Keep it up!

I like it that Blockonimics is decentralized and invoice generation and tracking payments are easy. It would be nice if this payment system also supports more cryptocurrencies.

I used Blockonomics for about a year, but I found its security to be very weak. The platform doesn’t even have basic protections like Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). Last month, someone hacked into my Blockonomics account and stole about $1600. If 2FA had been available, this might not have happened. After this, I was very disappointed that Blockonomics still hasn’t added 2FA or improved its security. Because it lacks basic safety features, I do not recommend using this service.

I’m reading some of the comments, and I must say people are not the brightest stars. Accusing a payment gateway operator working in the crypto area of helping scammers is not logical at all.

If a scammer asks you to send bitcoin to a certain address you are the one at fault. If an e-commerce is scamming people it’s not Blockonomics fault and I’m sure they try to prevent this as much as possible. Y’all are just salty because you lost some money.

We have been using their service for a long time. Whenever an issue has occurred they have been very helpful. If you run an e-commerce, we definitely recommend Blockonomics.
