My first prescription
My first prescription, although stated by blinks/federal ex a successful delivery to my home was not true. As of this writing no one has any idea where it is. This particular scrip was eye drops of which had it arrived as stated, would have allowed me to not have a absence of this drug for a unknown period of time. This is concerning and threatens the continued health of my eyes. Now for the real promblem
When I contacted Blink, I was expecting a professional environment. Not the case. The first four non speaking English employees attempted to make it incumbent on me to find out where the delivery was made and or contact fed ex. Very disturbing. I would say as much of a promblem it was for me to understand them I am sure they could not understand me. Give this statement some thought. You may grasp the real concern with a language barrier. What you say and what they hear and process is far different. As of this writing I am without my prescription. And based on a recent email if which stated in 3/5 days they have better knowledge of the shipping date. In my view this is blinks responsibility. They should have over knighted that prescription. They would not. Things happen. more often then not, businesses who truly have the best interest of their customer or maybe patients,client will go out of their way to make the customer whole. Not the case. Language barrier? Always make sure your prescription is correct. Do not take that for granted. Good luck to all hopefully I will get back on track, although it appears doubtful based on how blinks has handled their mistake.

The packing box did not have a notice…
The packing box did not have a notice that the medication inside needed to be refrigerated. I didn’t unpack it for several days. The ice packs were melted. I put the medication in the refrigerator but I have not used it. I will probably throw it away.
This is a medication I did not ask for. My provider diagnosed dry eye that does not bother me. She ordered the prescription for me but gave no information about it. I received a call from my health plan’s pharmacy administrator telling me the medication is not covered by the plan but they are going to substitute another medication for future refills. I think the original prescription was intended to gin up sales of a new product - give the unwitting patient a 30 day supply at no charge and see if the health plan will cover it and to build up demand. I understand the out of pocket, uninsured cost is over $1000 per month. Hahaha. I will be speaking to my provider about this as this is the second time she has prescribed a new medication for my dry eye condition that was free for one month, not covered by insurance, with a refill cost of $1200. I think Blink is part of this scam and I don’t like it.

This isn’t working
The first month of my prescription worked well. When my refill came about a month later, the prescription never arrived and after 6-7 phone calls, they tried to bill me for a reorder, then posted they were contacting my insurance company even though my prescription isn’t covered by insurance, and a month later I still don’t have a refill. I’m not sure if this is a legitimate business or not. Right now I’m without my medication and have no answers about getting it. I’ve been told during each phone call I’ve made that someone will be in touch with me later in the day. I’ve never received any follow up calls.
