Beware of Rip-off Sozialversicherung Service
Clicked too fast and contracted a costly service ( to obtain Sozialversicherungsnummer) that is easily and free of cost obtainable from the German state pension insurance office (Deutsche Rentenversicherung) directly and faster. The website makes it look like you are on a federal/official website, which you are not. Clever money machine - don't fall for the trap.
