Bitwarden is awesome

Bitwarden is awesome! Too many positives to mention, and not a single negative. Very happy to pay the annual charge and can't recommend it enough.

Amazing support and amazing company!

Currently having a problem with the Firefox add-on and contacted support for help. Turns out others are having the same problem due to a bug in the add-on. It is being worked on. I commend Bitwarden support for being extremely fast with responses to my emails and forthcoming with the bug information.

The password management service is absolutely amazing! I am so glad I found out about these guys and HIGHLY recommend the service to everybody! The yearly fee is so far in the noise for such a service that I can't believe it. Keep it up!!!

Great tools, good support excellent value

Bitwardin gave me all the tools to allow me to manage my passwords across all my devices and autofill the logins for all my accounts. What was critical for me was the ability to share passwords to my accounts with my spouse in a way that always kept her current. The support has also been supportive.

Great product, great service

First of all, BitWarden is a great product. I've been using it for over two years, and I'm very happy with it. It might not be the simplest password manager out there, but it's not all that complicated either. I'm now using 32-character random passwords on almost all of my logins and only have to remember one master password. The free version is fully functional, and probably enough for most people, but the paid version is a steal at $10 US per year and the extra features are worth the money.

In addition to managing your passwords, BitWarden lets you store credit cards so the payment information will auto-populate at a click. Another feature is Secure notes, which allows you to save and access sensitive information like Social Security numbers or software activation codes.

Customer service is fantastic. I recently sent an email request for help, and literally received a response within five minutes. The representative was friendly and knowledgeable, and solved my problem on the first try. I could not give higher marks for service.

PW Manager reviewer fell in love

I was a paid freelance Password Manager and Antivirus Software reviewer/ advertiser at a big marketing/ review website. My colleagues and I continuously advocated to have Bitwarden in our lists, despite the fact that they didn't pay us for any affiliate marketing like most of the top-ranking password managers. This is because it's crazy affordable, really secure, open-source, and pretty easy to use. I quit that job years ago but I've kept Bitwarden on all my devices. It has a bit of a learning curve and there were a few Quality of Life details that I didn't figure out for ages -- look on YouTube or look at their Help Page! But yea, it's a great product, way cheaper than most competitors, and I'm pretty sure they aren't mining your data like most password manager companies probably are.

Used many password managers including…

Used many password managers including lastpass, dashlane and Keepass. bitwarden takes the crown in privacy, customer service and freedom. Had a billing issue and within 20 minutes of sending and email they rectified it and got a detailed explanation of what happened. There is an app for every device and browser. its even self hostable and the free version is very extensive.

Amazing password manager

Very good password manager with an amazing customer support. Aside from the usual benefits using a password manager, Bitwarden has many paid options that are beneficial for every need, for private or enterprise alike. You can even host your own server if you don't want to use the cloud service.

Best password App

For all the helpful, interesting, and entertaining things the internet has to offer, there is a lot of nasty, deceitful, and downright dangerous stuff lurking about. It therefore helps to use some serious protection while logging in to various sites. Bitwarden is one such product. I have been using it for over a year now, and it works like a charm. Whether using your own passwords or letting Bitwarden auto fill your login passwords, it just WORKS...! Easy to manage, simple to operate, and for me, drops right into Firefox without issues. I can heartily recommend Bitwarden for all your password needs, and the price is extremely fair for a top notch piece of software.

I've been with BW for at least 6 years

I've been with BW for at least 6 years, and have been totally fine with their excellent APP, and mostly with their support, being fast and reliable!

There was a sight "hiccup" in something in BW's AI shutting off my auto pay, and a 2 months and a half, of not being able to reset auto pay back up.
(I didn't shut off my auto pay!)
But thanks for David in support, it's back up and running again!

Now I hope to be a happy paying customer for at least another 6 years, at least! Than I'll again be another 6 Plus year veteran of BW, and be happy to change the rating back to 5 stars!

Seems like they thought of everything

We've been using Bitwarden on the Family plan coming up on a year now, to replace Kaspersky Password Manager and various browser password managers. Family runs $40 per year and provides upgraded features for up to 6 users.
All the basic vault stuff works great. But what I really like about this particular plan is the contingency planning: 1) Share particular passwords with anyone in the Family group. 2) Set up emergency access designees (they don't have to be in the Family group). 3) If unpaid in the future, members revert to the Free individual plan; vaults and emergency designations are preserved.
So, basically, if I drop dead my family can get to my accounts and keep the wheels turning, or stop them turning, as needed. If someone close to you has died or been disabled, you probably realize how valuable this is.
There's also a lot of value to the Free and Premim ($10 yr) plans, with the same core functionality and limited access to the (3) contingency features above. But we liked the product enough that we wanted to support it, and consider the Family features a bargain for the price.
Also, I recently had an encounter with Bitwarden Billing Support, and the response was extremely prompt and helpful.
On the downside, the user interface is a little klunky... but so was Kaspersky (though in totally different ways!). Normally I would have dinged it 1 star for the UI, but the contingency planning is just so great -- and the fact that the individual vaults are still supported even if you stop paying is so over the top compared to anything else -- that I feel it rates 5 stars regardless of the slightly klunky UI.

Apps are what they are

Apps are what they are, either they fit your needs or they don't. Bitwarden fits my needs to a tee and here's why:
1) It's Open Source. I'm a big fan of open source software due to the amount of scrutiny these apps get. Bitwarden details that scrutiny on their site.
2) It has what I want in a password manager, it's easy to use and doesn't take a Ph.D to customize.
3) It plays well with others, in particular, Safari. It makes it very easy to log into sites. One issue, is that it seems I am forever "unlocking" my vault. It's just an initial extra step.
4) Using "Files", you can easily organize your passwords.
5) Integrated TOTP. I used to have to use multiple apps for the authentication, but no more. It does require a yearly fee, but least now, it is an affordable price.
Lastly) The support. When I originally setup my master pwd, I fat-fingered something, not once but twice. The support people were great. They were very quick to respond and helped me off the ledge, so to speak.

All-in-all it is an app that should be considered whether you are new to password managers or are OK with the one you have.

Dissapointing.

1. Minimum 12 character password is too long.
2. Passwordless logon setup (Passkey creation) not functional on my HP WIN 11 laptop.
3. Does not store automatically new login parameters for new sites.
4. A for effort to the tech support agent, but no success in overcoming the app weaknesess.
5. The free version is good value for the money, but paying for Bitwarden is not a good idea.

Solid and trustful password manager.

I use Bitwarden for several years and I am very satisfied with this password manager. Works smooth on my MacOS, iOS and iPad devices. Good support.
Only adding new features takes a long time. The user interface looks also little bit out-of-date.

Just signed up for an account and I'm not impressed

Just signed up for an account. I didn't know what I was supposed to do so I looked for the help section, there is no help listed on the page at all. I saw a + sign so I started entering a email then it wanted to know what folder but you can't add a folder from that page. Finally saw a drop down at the top where you can enter a new folder, this should be in the other box. I finally entered my first email and went to add another and the + sign is gone, nowhere on the page. I have no idea where to go to enter another email. Nowhere on the page does it say enter new item or have the plus sign and there is nothing that says help anywhere on my screen. How does this app get good ratings is beyond me.
