very dissapointed
I have an account by Bitvavo since ca. 18 months. I have always used the same bank account to deposit money, and it worked as I did the initial deposit ca.18 months ago. As I lately decided to deposit and invest more money, the transaction was rejected. That's why I contacted the Bitvavo support. The problem with rejecting the transaction was, that I ended up to have lost 5% of the initial money I meant to invest. Acc. to Bitvavo support it was, as I have a British bank account in £ and my bank charged me a £-Euro conversion fee each time (paid out and paid back in). It is probably right, however their answer to my question why my transaction was rejected in the first place, Bitvavo support answered, that I didn't put the reference no. which refers to my Bitvavo account. But I did enter it and I did send them my bank statement with the proof of the correct entered reference number. I even stressed it more than once and attached my bank statements all over again, as there was always another person who I was chatting with. And there is always the same answer about this alleged missing bloody reference number. Thus I am giving up. I will be deleting my Bitvavo account and I am sharing my experience with you regarding Bitvavo.
