Another scam BEWARE
Looks like I have fallen victim to a scam.
This company showed great promise from the start, but now they have taken the investment, I am unable to contact them on any of the phone numbers provided.
I was supposed to have received payment for more than a week, but yet no sign. After doing more research into the company using the government website, this now says that the company was dissolved in march 2021.
Unfortunately I wish that I had checked this website first rather than going by the reviews on this site, it just shows that Trustpilot reviews cannot be trusted.
If by the slim chance that this changes then I will amend this review, but for now, DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE
In reply to what seems to be the standard response from BITRADE.NET that they have no record of me on their system. The same response every other person has received that has called them scammers. If you have no record of me, how come when I finally got through to somebody today, they knew exactly who I was, and basically offered no solution to any of the issues facing myself, or any of the other unfortunate people that have been duped by your company

This is a scam
This is a scam. Please stay clear. It's the same crooks behind the likes of Exodus and Coins traders. Trust Pilot should be ashamed of letting them post fake reviews.

Total scam
Total scam. Please keep well clear. Reviews are all under 1 month and from new users. They take money for bitcoins at massively reduced costs then claim you need to pay ‘Tax’ to withdraw. I guarantee that if you invest you’ll never, ever see your money again!

BITrade.net - This is an elaborate scam - AVOID!! - Place no funds with them you will lose your money!!
Updated (27-10-2021) Mark Holt has been in contact (it took an age - see the previous update below). I wished to draw out a portion of the funds (35%) and he sold everything back to the "Balance" section of the account on the website. He then sent me an invoice for tax on the whole amount of gain, even though I only requested partial encashment. The gain was not calculated correctly. The broker fee of 4% has been added to 20% tax but all is showing as tax. It is not accurate and both shoddy and unprofessional. It is clearly a way of scamming me further - by attempting to get me to add further funds to the Kraken Wallet. He says the funds will be paid out at the same time my 24% tax / fee is paid to them from the Kraken wallet. Another negative reviewer said the funds won't get paid out, they just take the fee and do not send your money back the other way.
Furthermore, the Bitrade.net T&Cs for the website are UK based. Mine was a UK transaction through a UK business as per point 18 of the T&Cs. In the UK tax is assessed on the individual not the company. Mark Holt states the tax must be paid in Switzerland. They have not given accurate detail of how the gain was made (despite two separate requests) ... he sent me a list of numbers with references which do not add up to the figures I have on record. The key failing (apart from it being a scam) is that the broker fee and the tax on the invoice are being charged as one (24%) not 20% + 4% - This tax issue is clearly scam part 2. in action. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE MONEY - They are fraudsters!!
Previous Post of 23-1-2021: Mark Holt (my Bitrade.net broker) since I invested has become impossible to get hold of. He has
A) refused to comply with four requests to withdraw funds,
B) has not provided information about underlying trade contracts which I requested, which he promised to send - these are the contracts he cited as the reason for not releasing funds when I did manage to speak to him at the end of September. I have also been promised full audit details on contracts so I can see how the "profits" have actually been made and he promised full data for Capital Gains Tax reporting - he has failed in this too - no data provided,
C) when the date was reached (12 Oct 2021) that these so-called contracts matured there was no change to my portfolio (the assets - if they exist, which I doubt -remained in situ) meaning the contract issue was a fabrication, hence him not sending details, as promised. The funds were not sold down as agreed. Recently they have been sold down and in the "Balance" but I cannot access these funds - Mark Holt controls this and without his agreement and action I cannot get the funds to my wallet and then to my bank.
D) Control: Bitrade / Mark Holt sets up appointments by email and does not keep them (another one yesterday 21-10-2021 at 4.30pm) - This is so unreliable and unprofessional it is clearly a scam.
E) He has not attended 4 appointments set up (by email) to discuss my concerns
F) he has ignored subsequent emails when I complained about the poor service
F) He is unavailable to contact by phone - all are numbers provided are "not in service" when called.
THE FRAUD: He previously confirmed to me I could have funds at any time, which is clearly not true. I need to access money and he is not allowing this - He obtained funds by misrepresentation. Now not giving me access this is embezzlement, and taking funds without consent is theft.
Therefore IT IS AN ELABORATE SCAM.
Bitrade.net's response on Trust Pilot is that they have no record of me, which they do, I have taken screen shots from their website at various dates and have full email records with Mr Holt at his Bitrade.net email address, and he is shown as the broker contact on the website - the phone number on the website is blank though! So clearly they all tie in together.
All the evidence has been gathered in a document packs which I am sending to a) The UK Financial Conduct Authority to get these people blacklisted, b) The Police, and c) The Serious & Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) who will liaise with overseas police authorities to tackle international crime. Bitrade.net operate from abroad - they have a UK office - the number I was given is no longer obtainable - the same as their other office numbers on the website abroad, none of them work. So the UK office is a shell that they rent to give a UK presence, part of the elaborate scam, as are all the other offices.
CONCLUSION: AVOID THESE PEOPLE + Bitrade.net. IT IS A SCAM. The people running this are committing fraud. I, like others, have been duped. I believe the positive Trustpilot reviews are fake too. Check out other negative reviews too. There is so much evidence do not get caught by them. "Invest" with them at your peril - YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY!! AVOID AVOID AVOID !!

Complete scam, avoid at all costs if you want to have any money left in your bank account, you start off with a small deposit, then eventually they try to get around 10-14 thousand off you for a Bitcoin which you can sell straight away for market price which is like 20 thousand more😂

SCAM SCAM SCAM
SCAM - please stay clear.
This bitrade.net is a total scam. They dupe you in over a period of months but they only want to steal your money. You invest a small amount initially but they keep putting pressure on you to invest big with a promise of a bit coin bundle.
Never let anyone onto your computer with “any desk” or similar software.
Nothing but a total scam. Save your money and tell them where to go.
I'm sure this message will be responded with the typical generic reply below 'We can not find your details'. This is a total scam run by people with absolutely no morals. Do not give them a penny of your money.
The names I was given for the traders were: Michael Lewis, Andrew Moore (very posh English accent), Robert Goldwin and Daniel Hoffman……… they’re all a bunch of crooks. Please don’t give them a penny of your money. Interestingly the same names are the names coming up on the negative reviews of Exodus-Trader & Coins-Trader. Don’t trust these scammers as they’ll steal all your money. Nothing but scum bags
