It's beginning to be really concerning with the discrepancies they've resorted to continue to engage in...where i'd not have any of it is when they crossed the likne of shutting my acct, while i still had a very substantial worth of crypto in it. the support never fixes, they used delay and push around tactics....it was like that from january, i couldn't take anything out. not until May 28th, i reached out to Savcapitallim;Ltd. to look into the entire situation, forensics, came out. happend to be that all i had had been moved to their cold wallet...why? no answers(probably converted to company properties, you mean 1.3bitcoin&18.2eth) just poof! like literally gone? I rejected... following the guidance of and recommeded steps after the report, bitbuy was eventually legally mandated to refund, i got all out and transferred to my ledger. which better and safe. Never recommending bitybuy, not even to my foes.

BitBuy is the worst platform I have ever had to deal with. On your first deposit, You have to wait 72 hours before you can withdraw. So I waited 72 hours then I went and tried to perform my withdrawal. They want to charge $15 US for withdrawal. That is just ridiculous so I don't recommend bit buy to anybody at all. Use at your own risk I think it's a waste of time and it's crooked and ridiculous how can they charge $15 for a withdrawal. A waste of time and money.

Absolutely terrible platform, do not use. They recently forced me to sell a token (at an 80% loss due to current crypto winter!) as they just suddenly decided they didn't support it anymore, even thought I bought it through bitbuy and held it for over a year. Would not allow it to be transferred to another wallet. Now I am trying to sell my remaining assets and every time I try to sell the platform says cannot complete request. Sent a ticket to "customer support" hours ago and still no result. Highly recommend you stay away from these jokers

Update: This company is impossible to contact. They have no contact information, no phone number, no live chat, only a place to enter a ticket. Then you never hear from their customer support. Not only is this the worst crypto exchange I’ve dealt with, but the worst company. Period.

I switched from Coinbase to Bitbuy because it’s a Canadian company and had slightly lower fees. Biggest mistake ever! I transferred all my assets to Bitbuy with no issues but then they told me there was a mandatory three day hold for new users. Ok, that irked me a little but I can deal with three days. Five days later and all my assets are still being held. I have jumped through hoops for this company - verifying my identity, giving them screenshots of all my transactions within Coinbase to prove where the crypto was coming from and that I was the purchaser, telling them WHY I purchased it and what I plan to do with it, etc…. And STILL my funds are frozen and customer support is MIA. I am losing money because of this company. If they don’t release my funds today, I am getting my lawyer involved.
DO NOT create an account with Bitbuy!!! The absolute worst crypto exchange I have ever dealt with.
PLEASE learn from my mistake!! STAY AWAY!!!

Bitbuy freezes new accounts for 3 days even when using E-transfer.Its an awful policy leaving investors buck naked , unable to transfer crypto into a cold wallet . They don’t seem to disclose this info openly.

Can’t withdrawal to cold storage. Anxiety is through the roof asking for options to explore. Loaded cryptocurrency, successfully traded cryptocurrency. Funds have been processing for 8hours I’m verified no reason at all to be this long.

Can't withdraw cash. They told me to complete a form and this would be resolved. I sent the document in and they rejected it. I resent it two different ways and now they don't respond. Looks like I will have to go legal as this company clearly does not care about it's customers. Avoid and use Kraken.

Bitbuy is refusing to allow me to make any trades. For days now I have tried to make trades and all I get is a blanket message that trades are haulted for first time users, password changes, etc. I am not a first time user. A support ticket comes up and asks who is the proceeds going to, what is their occupation, date of birth, platform etc. I am just trying to withdraw some canadian funsds to my own account. This is total bulls$$t and a total scam. No problems adding money or crypto but impossible to take it out. Another scam company.

Bitbuy deliberately makes it very difficult to withdraw funds. Customer service is mostly the same AI responses with suspicious sounding names. They put a restriction on withdraws and then refuse to take it off until the security team makes personal contact but then they are almost impossible to contact. sTAY AWAy

I am writing this to warn others about Bitbuy’s promotional practices. I signed up in good faith during an in-person event at the CNE (Canadian National Exhibition). Despite following the instructions provided on-site, Bybit later used 'automated verification failures' and 'expired promotion windows' as technicalities to avoid honoring the promised sign-up bonus.
The Objective Issue: It isn't about the money; it’s about the lack of integrity. If a multi-billion dollar exchange is willing to hide behind automated scripts to avoid paying a small promotional bonus to a new customer, how can they be trusted with significant assets during a market crisis?
Support was dismissive and offered no manual resolution for a problem caused by their own system. I have closed my account. If you are looking for a platform that values its reputation and its users, look elsewhere. A company that fails the 'small' trust tests will inevitably fail the 'big' ones.

Their transfer fees are ridiculous, do not use this platform.

If you’re thinking about using BitBuy, don’t. I deposited money and couldn’t get it back no matter how many times I asked. Their support just gave me the runaround. Thankfully, a coworker connected me with someone who helped me recover my account. Save yourself the stress. Stay away from them

Bitbuy is the worst finance platform I have ever seen. They practically steal your money, work with it in the dark area and make dirty money from your money. when you want to withdraw your money they make 100 excuses that it was not successful and we need this and that to make money more from your money.
Do NOT trust Bitbuy since they play with you and they think people are full and do not understand what they are doing. the 5 star on their platform is all FAKE

BitBuy froze me out of my account. I have sent multiple support requests, and they do not respond. They are holding $10,000 of mine. And I'm going to have to go to the police shortly and report a crime.

I cashed out my crypto holdings a week ago. On Aug 22 I was informed that the cash transfer to my bank failed and to re-enter my banking info. This was done with transit # and institution id being confirmed by my bank. I was then informed that the institution I’d had to be 4 characters..,the Bitbuy app forced a 5 digit code….ive been playing silly bugger over email since then. No response in 3 days …call their tel # and there are no options to talk to a BitBuy employee. Frustrating beyond belief that they can hide behind email and draw out simple, straight forward transactions. My guidance would be select another crypto exchange ..these guys are proving they are very willing to take your money but will make it extremely difficult to withdraw. Steer clear of any company that will take your money but not your phone call.

They hold your crypto for days even after you meet all requirements and you can’t withdraw your crypto.There is one problem after another with this website.very atrocious and horrible experience. Will never again do business with them or recommend them to anyone. I am waiting to see if my problem gets resolved today or take serious action even news media

They stole $300 from me and will not refund my money unless I send them $700. This is a complete scam do not use this app period. Had to contact bitcoin to launch an investigation.
