Don't buy the Crosswave Cordless Max! Potential buyers please read first.
Yes, the product works well, however when something goes wrong it's a nightmare!
After much research we decided to buy the expensive Bissell as opposed to other brands.
With normal household use, the first one needed to be replaced (under guarantee) but when the replacement didn't work, on Bissells advice, we replaced firstly the charger, secondly the handle and finally a brand new Bissell battery. - Still dead so a virtually new machine is now at the council recycling centre - and we've bought another brand!

Once they have your money they do not care. Customer service does not exist. I wish I had looked for Bissel on Trust Pilot before buying. They must have the worst reputation on here.

it only sucked up 20% of the water it put on the carpet ( I measured it many times) Returned it to Amazon and called bissell .. They said they did not know why so I purchased same machine but different Model....SAME PROBLEM!!!! Even went to a fix it website paid my money but it did not HELP FIX THE PROBLEM NOW stuck with this piece of expensive crap. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE!!!!!!

I purchased a semi professional Bissel carpet cleaner a while back, I used it a dozen times and in those 12 times it packed up 4 times. The tank leaked, the pipes split ( no part available) the hose split , then the motor packed up completely so it wouldn’t suck up the dirty water. So I gave them the benefit of doubt , and brought another carpet cleaner, this one I had in the attic for a while as I didn’t need it, then the very first time I needed it the tank catch snapped off. Bissel we’re about as much help as zero, even tho I had an account and purchased the cleaner from them they wanted a copy of the receipt. So after spending nearly £700 I’ve cleaned my postage stamp size carpet 13 times and had a gallon of water soaked into the carpet 5 of them. The product and service is atrocious. Would never buy a bissel product again.

I called bissel.com to report a fraudulent charge on a credit card and to obtain any information that may help prevent future fraudulent charges. The customer service representative with bissel.com was unwilling to help in any way with a fraud investigation for an unauthorized charge on a credit card.
