Bishops Carpet One Floor & Home Reviews 

Sales person Chris was great and very helpful. Was on time to measure the big room for my rather weird job covering a crumbling, pock-marked old concrete basement floor.
I did have one small complaint with the way the carpet was installed, in that the ending edge did not reach to where I wanted it and it looked "unfinished". If the installer had just come and found me in the other part of the house, we could have discussed how to do that little part. It didn't look properly finished. Later I had my regular carpenter use part of the remnant to fill in that small gap, but its short edge doesn't have the nice edging strip on it.

Otherwise the installers were very skilled and efficient and did an excellent job putting down the carpet.
The whole area looks so much better, and will stay a lot cleaner than the floor underneath did.
I would definitely go to Bishops Carpet One again.

Our experience was excellent. Dave Pirko helped us by answering any and all questions and thus making the correct choice for us and our home...he's the best. Kept our appt time and had a great crew for the install. They stayed on task; were actually finished ahead of schedule and were very very polite.

I used Bishop's to install carpet & vinyl flooring over 15 years ago. I was very satisfied, so when it came time to purchase new flooring I went to Bishop's once again. Dave came right out to do the measuring, then put me on the schedule for installation. Frankie was great! He was very prompt and always kept me informed of what he was doing. Dave followed up to see if I was satisfied. The new floor looks fantastic! I would highly recommend Bishop's Carpet One.

Quality of work is excellent. There was one time where the crew did not show up for an appointment and did not call. But other than that, the work was great. They were also very flexible when we made a mistake on which rooms needed to be carpeted. Justin and Chris were great with the up-front work.

The staff were knowledgeable and friendly and helped me find a lower-cost way to re-do my flooring. The floor installer was very knowledgeable and had many years of experience. I love my new floor!

Would definitely go back to Bishops if needed. Over the past several months I replaced all the carpeting in my house with Lee's carpet purchased at Bishops. The sales rep, Justin was helpful and provided very prompt service measuring and providing quotes including alternatives. He knew that I was planning a purchase and called to advise me that a sale was ending the following day. The installers were efficient and thorough. The only glitches I ran into were when Justin wasn't available to work with me there didn't seem to be good back up but it worked out eventually.

We had Lee's Stainmaster carpet installed by Bishop's twice: Once in 2016 and again this week. The service was top-notch and friendly. We received the estimates for the jobs promptly. The installer, Mike, was friendly, extremely helpful, and cleaned up after himself. In this week's instance, he removed 4 louvered doors which we had not been able to figure out "Oh, he said, these pop right off like this..." and off they came!
I would recommend this company to anyone having carpeting laid.

My husband and I went to Bishops for window treatments. There were many things I liked about dealing with Bishops. David was very knowledgeable about the various options, he came to the house to measure the next day (we have never experienced that kind of efficiency) and he gave us multiple options for products and pricing. They carry high quality brands that might cot a bit more but well worth it. Rick the blinds installer was polite, quick and cleaned everything. He came on time (even in bad weather.)
Chris helped us pick out carpet and was helpful in giving us the right options for what our expectations are and our circumstances. (3 cats) Bishops agreed to store the carpet until we are ready to install.

We were in the market for new flooring, and Bishops Carpet One was amazing from day one. David was very informative step by step, with what type of flooring we should use, pros and cons, etc as I have no idea what we needed when it came to flooring, I just knew the style. It seems these days you have to be careful with some companies taking advantage of you not knowing specifics, and David did NOT do that one bit. He was excellent to work with, and checked in on the projects from start to finish. His installers were excellent as well, very friendly, efficient, and did amazing work. Highly recommended, and a plus they are a local company here in Ithaca!

My just completed home on Lake Seneca has large windows that needd a final touch. Tom and Rich did a beautiful job! Done to oerfection. Very Accomoadating. I recommend their exoert service for anyone looking for custom work.
