I went to Birleys Mark Lane at 10.23 am today. Two ladies, (not the usual tall lady) were speaking to each other not minding the customers. I tried to get their attention and asked for a soup. They said the soup is not ready, yet the soups were in front of us. They said I could only have a soup after 11 am. One of their employees was serving themselves with the very soup I wanted to buy. Useless to say you have now lost a customer, I work nearby and I wanted a soup on a very cold day. Who thought it was a great idea not to sell the soup when they were clearly ready and in front of my eyes?
Who trains the ladies not to bother when the clients come?
What an awful experience and customer service.
Think about selling soups rather than what time it is!!!!!!!!!!

Birleys - perfect staff make perfect salads
Birleys salad bar - Canary Wharf. The salads are fresh, colourful and so very varied. They are my absolute favourite but as we all know it's the staff that make the whole experience so wonderful. I have never met such polite, helpful and friendly staff. It is a pleasure to be served by such lovely young people.
