Service is not optimal
It seems now I have been "had" and my best recourse (in my opinion) is to help that it does not happen to others.
On 1/16/20, FOUR boxes of a probiotic were ordered from this company's, BingBongMart's, website. On 1/21/20, one shipment came and it was unusual. The reason it was unusual was the packaging (both tape and box) was labeled as being from THRIVE; this is a creditworthy online company. Why would someone use another company's packaging materials?
After receiving only TWO of the probiotics ordered, an email was sent to BingBongMart's email address that day. It said simply that TWO boxes were missing from the order. No response was given from BBM.
On 1/23/20, another shipment arrived, with the same packaging of THRIVE (both box and tape) but ONLY ONE box of the probiotics was inside.
That very day, another email was sent to BBM; again NO REPLY.
From 1/24/20 until 1/30/20, NINE more respectful emails were sent inquiring about the missing ONE box of probiotics---NO REPLY was ever given by BBM.
On 1/30/20, Paypal was notified and a Dispute Resolution was initiated. Only after that, did BBM make a FIRST response. In the reply, BBM insisted that the second shipment did have TWO boxes of the probiotics, then added "just look around your house, you probably lost them somewhere."
I am a doctor in medical practice now for over 39 years and have yet to loose track or overlook items sent to me in a small box.
That day I called THRIVE and spoke with Angelica. I asked her why BingBongMart would be using THRIVE packaging materials and Angelica replied, "we have absolutely no affiliation with BingBongMart." Who would do such a thing, that is, use packing materials of an established company without their approval?
I have given the facts in this review for your best judgment.
UPDATED REVIEW/RESOLUTION:
As stated above, this situation was escalated to PayPal's Dispute Resolution center. At this point, BingBongMart responded and went above any of my expectations in resolving this issue.
On 2/2/20, a shipment arrived, once again in THRIVE packaging box/labels. Inside were TWO boxes of the ordered probiotic. I immediately contacted BingBongMart via PayPal to make them aware of the extra box, which I had NOT purchased. I asked for directions on sending it back. However, their response was for me to keep it, as they considered us "good customers." I replied that was generous.
I began this review giving BingBongMart a ONE-STAR rating but now have changed it to THREE-STAR. Yes, we finally did get proper, respectful response but we sure had to go to a lot of trouble first.
