Bily Renovation removed wallpaper, rendered our walls and ceilings and painted everything in our Edinburgh flat.

It was a difficult project, with high ceilings, multiple layers of historic wallpaper, and walls in a delicate state. But Ruslan and his team did a fantastic job, remaining sensitive to the historic character and keeping us informed closely throughout.

We had a tight deadline to finish the work before moving in, but again they went above and beyond in getting everything finished and cleaned up in time. We couldn't be happier with the final look.

I wholeheartedly recommend Bily Renovation to anybody with a similar project, and look forward to working with them again in the future!

Bily Renovation recently completed a full kitchen remodel for us, including installing new flooring and interior doors in our Edinburgh flat. The team was fantastic throughout.

Sasha and another team member were especially great—quiet, professional, and very understanding. They just got on with the work without any fuss. Sasha even came with me to pick up the right tap fitting to make sure we got exactly what was needed, which was much appreciated.

So glad we found this team! They completely transformed our shop in just 3 days — from painting everything to installing our neon sign and even setting up the full central mains system for our ice machine. Everything was done to such a high standard, and they were unbelievably efficient and fast. Nothing was ever too much, and they went above and beyond to get things done on time. Will definitely be using them again in the future.

Bily Renovation completed painting on my walls ceiling and door in my Edinburgh flat. The end result was perfect and exactly what I had asked for. They also cleaned up other parts in the flat that needed tidied up e.g odd sanding / plastering. I felt like I could really trust everyone who came and was happy to give the workmen keys whilst I was out. Would 100% recommend!

Total 5 star experience. Ruslan and his team came over to do our front wall re-render and painting and they did an incredible job. The team came recommended from a friend and Ruslan communicated super clearly through the whole process and listened to everything we were looking for. The quote was also super fair after we had received some extortionate prices from competitors. We had a slight issue with the wall after and Ruslan came back to fix it immediately and the problem never rose again which is exactly the service you would hope for. We will definitely use the team again and suggest to anyone who needs work done.

Bily Renovation recently renovated and decorated our flat in Edinburgh’s New Town, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. From our first meeting and estimate, communication was excellent throughout. Ruslan suggested setting up a WhatsApp group early on, which proved invaluable. Even though his team speaks limited English, this was never an issue—Ruslan kept us updated daily with messages and photos, especially when we weren’t able to be on site.

The quality of the workmanship and finish exceeded our expectations, even in the face of unexpected complications. When removing the wallpaper revealed hidden mould, Ruslan dealt with it calmly, thoughtfully, and efficiently. He provided a fair estimate for the additional work and kept everything on track.

The renovation included extensive plastering, and the preparation and painting of woodwork, ceilings, and walls throughout the flat. We were particularly impressed by how seamlessly they blended new cornicing with the original—no easy task, as an exact match wasn’t possible. The plastering work deserves special mention, showcasing a level of craftsmanship we understand to be influenced by traditional Ukrainian techniques.

We were so confident in their work that, a few weeks later, we asked them to re-tile the hall floor. This too was completed with the same precision and care.

Our only small criticism—one we discussed with Ruslan—was that more care could have been taken to cover furniture and floors during the plastering stage. That said, we’re confident this feedback has been taken on board for future projects.

Well done to Ruslan and the whole team—we’d gladly recommend them and look forward to working with them again.

Bily Renovation did Joinery work for us, on a short notice, they surveyed the work area and the requirements and arrived on the scheduled day, and completed the work to our satisfaction. I would definitely recommend the company and will be using them for more work at the end of the month.

Russ is a fantastic human and a real professional. He painted and repaired my windows and touched up the pain in two additional rooms which had suffered from previous water damage. He is also a great communicator and kept me updated throughout the work. Really grateful to have found him. Can recommend him highly enough. 5 star rating.

Unwillingly, thanks to Wren kitchen supplier's mistakes, we ended up being a bit of a challenging client, and our project ended up taking a whole month to finish. But Ruslan and Alex were absolute pros—super patient, professional, and caring. They fit us into their busy schedule and worked around all the changes. They even saved my favorite tiles and the wallpaper!

The quality of the installation was top-notch.
They worked quickly, and if our deliveries had been on time, the whole kitchen would've been done in just a few days.

They were always polite and friendly, and every time we had another chipped door or wrong sized cabinet, they’d just say, "Don’t worry, these things happen, we'll see what we can do".

Ruslan and his team re-decorated my bedroom and outside windows. Everything is looking great and fresh. It's the little things, that make the work extra special, checking I was happy at the end of the day and at the end of the work. Not everyone does that, thanks team, great job!

Bily Renovation delivered excellent work on our bedroom redecoration, stripping the walls of some very tough old wallpaper, patching and fixing problems in the walls and skirting boards, and then completing a beautiful paint job. The room is transformed! Great care was taken to ensure the best quality result. And at a reasonable price, given the amount of work involved.

Billy Renovation painted two rooms including ceilings, window sills and woodwork. There were some fairly substantial cracks in the walls which were filled and sanded beforehand. We are very happy with the outcome and would recommend to anyone

Ruslan and his team did an amazing job on a very big and complex project for us including stripping lining and wall paper, filling, plastering, skimming, removal of textured walls, painting, woodwork etc.

This was all done at a very fair price and no corners were cut when work took longer than expected.

Customer service was excellent and the work was great too. We are very happy with the transformation of our home and cannot recommend enough.
