Great communication from start.
Arrived much quicker than anticipated and delivery was smooth with driver very helpful.
Reasonably easy to construct even though was doing it alone for the most part. Few little parts that needed some adjustments but overall very good quality and almost fits perfectly.
Condensation inside on dry warm days along ceiling joists but after a few days dried out and was to be expected as pressure treated.
Loving it and just can’t wait to paint it now would highly recommend it to anyone considering

I’ve just had the most appalling experience with Garden Buildings Direct (part of the Kybotech Ltd company) who also run Billyoh. They are all the same company so don’t be fooled by fancy looking websites or the items they advertise!

I wish I had seen these reviews before I made an order over Easter bank holiday weekend. Our log cabin/summerhouse arrived on Monday which wasn’t a date that was agreed with us, I spent the whole of the week prior trying to get in touch with someone to rearrange delivery and you just cannot get through to anybody that doesn’t work on the sales line! All other departments are international, based in the Philippines and staff do not speak a word of English! I also tried emailing and reaching out on their social media accounts with no success. The service is diabolical and the quality of the actual item itself is NOTHING like what is advertised online. Despite this, the sales department answer within a 2 minute window and are all UK based (isn’t that ironic?!) - they have no issues when it comes to actually taking the money.

I refused to accept our order, it didn’t even make it off of the delivery truck because we noticed that the entire side panel had split down the middle! The tongue and groove parts at the end panel were all snapped off and the whole thing was damaged. It was clearly poor quality, cheap wood which echoes everything people are saying on here when they say that they attempted to build their products and everything was just not as it should be.

After I refused delivery, it took multiple attempts to contact them, and when I did get through, they were trying to blame me for refusing it (they said it causes delays) and constantly kept asking me to reschedule it. I was so fed up with their poor service at this point, I demanded a refund where I was given every excuse under the sun in an attempt to not issue me with one! They even said I needed to register with an online account to request my money back which is nonsense. In the end, I went through to the sales line and demanded to speak to a manager based in the UK. I reminded them that as I refused delivery and didn’t accept the goods, I was within my 14 days consumer rights to request an instant refund. I threatened them with legal action if it wasn’t resolved and conveniently, my money was returned to me in 3 working days!

We were LUCKY to get our money back and I know it’s taken people months to get theirs.

Avoid this company at all costs, these 5 star reviews you see are the companies attempt to boost their rating but you should absolutely believe all of the bad reviews you see here. Don’t waste your time or money.

To place order was easy and user friendly. On check out a surprise £30 delivery which just could of been included on price !

Later delivery and poor manufacturing, needed to take off doors and frame for all to fit.

Excellent communication upto delivery and provision of instructions and pre installation advice Delivery was as promised . When it came to assembly I followed the instructions for my chosen 16’ x8’ shed but found that some of the panels were not square and thus did not align without adjustment .During assembly of the roof beams I found the number supplied incorrect to provide correct installation spacing / support for the roof tongue and groove boards . I added 3x 38x38mm CLS timber studs and additional noggins to strengthen between joists and cross beams . Some roof boards came with damaged tongues thus additional sealant was applied . Felt went on easily and well sized . Window fitment was straight fwd but finish as per instructions would have left it vulnerable to water ingress , thus added additional wooden trim to top and bottom of each pane . The supplied bag of screws and nails was somewhat frustrating , although plentiful could they not be supplied in separate bags? As much time was lost sorting into use . Finally the double doors supplied are woefully flimsy and too small for supplied aperture . Again following instructions I’m left with gap of at least 15mm between leafs . To resolve this I’m looking to add an additional feather board to one leaf to over lap the second leaf .
More thought is required on security with this design too, as the door hinges are easily removed and the door itself only offers basic weather protection . With minor adjustments the hinges could be concealed and the door be doubled skinned to at least offer some resistance .
With all the above said , the shed has remained dry inside and withstood some windy conditions without effect , thus met my requirements. I would recommend it to others with advice of the above .

To be fair the garden room summer house is great - the screws however were all in the same bag and the instructions could be a little better - no labelling on any of the wood made it harder than it should have been but overall bar the little gripes it’s a good decent quality thing..

Save your money and look at Tiger sheds instead. The quality of these sheds are appalling, they're impossible to put together without doing remedial work. The wood used in the build is awful, bordering on rotten. You won't be able to get rid of the mould that arrived on the panels in the first place. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Bought Tianna log cabin, upgraded timber size, delivered February 2026.Assembled carcass of building to instructions but doors and surround pieces supplied are not correct fit and doors themselves are extremely poorly constructed with bad jointing and numerous deep nail gun holes left open and exposed.

Customer service has been worst I have ever experienced and problems currently remain unresolved such that I have had to get card payment company to get involved.
10 years ago bought Billyoh garden building from Garden Buildings Direct (appears Billyoh is now same company)which remains in use and satisfactory so am surprised at how products and customer support are now so poor .

Ordered the lollipop tower playhouse for my daughter's birthday. It arrived 6 weeks later and as I was unpacking the pallet I could tell the quality was questionable. Unfortunately, due to the time it had taken to arrive and my daughter looking forward to a wendyhouse for her birthday, I didn't have time to return it and source another. As I started to build it the poor quality of the materials and workmanship became even more apparent. Nails sticking out, boards snapped, wooden components covered in black mould, huge splits down strictutal pieces. It really is woeful. I did email them to let them know and just got the copy and paste reply I'm sure everyone else got. Wouldn't dream of ordering anything else from them. Have ordered from Wickey before and whilst they're more expensive the quality is far superior.

Ordering
I like to think I’m a typical buyer I put the size and material I wanted and searched the results and found one we liked and went about ordering it direct. From BillOh a Duramax 15 X9 shed.I ordered on Friday and it actually arrived 2 days later but I wasn’t in and didn’t receive an email. After looking at the tracking it was sent back out 2 days later . They had a tracking system on the order and showed me where the driver was.The delivery was by made by 1 person so kudos to him as it came in 2 very heavy boxes , all good on the delivery front.
The preparation
Before we began we decided that we needed a concrete base ,I had a partial one so it needed to be extended so we set about that first and that took 3 days including curing time.

The build

I didn’t actually build it myself my son in law and a friend who is a builder did.take your time to prep everything first as this make it easier. This was definitely a two man job and sometimes three as I helped hold the walls while the braces were put in place to keep some stability. They finished the first day with the walls and 2 roof panes on .The second day everything was finished off so all in all 5 days from base to build, the instructions looked pretty clear and tells you what parts and screws you need and where to put them.

The tools and things you need

You’re going to need all the usual things like drill cordless drill/ screwdriver hammer silicone ladder and so forth. All the hardware is supplied so no running to the shop for extras.

Was it all there

So a big trepidation of buying something like this is ,does it look like the picture, will it be delivered on time and will it be Broken or missing half the things. I must admit some of the reviews on BillIyIh are not the best and I was a little worried I had made an expensive mistake , but as I write this review every thing was included nothing was Broken and it went together very well.

Do I like it and was there anything else I needed.

Your going to have to factor in a floor of some type ,as once it’s fixed to the base your going to be left with a metal grid. This doesn’t come with flooring or a base so be aware you are going to need something of kinds.I had some 12mm sheeting left from my loft flooring so this was perfect to put down,we are also going to seal the base with clear silicone to stop any potential water ingress but this isn’t needed as a rule i wouldn't think, although It does recommend a slight slope to get rid of any water on the base. Now it’s up it actually looks like a small house, the walls are quite flexible not as rigid as wood but the reason for plastic is durability and you don’t have to paint it . I’m actually impressed from start to finish of the whole process and it looks wonderful. I can only tell you about my experience and with the Duromax 15x 9 shed and it was a very smooth and good one.

Customer service is slow and poor.

Having read reviews after purchasing the playhouse, I didn’t know what to expect but overall an ok experience. Delivery was unexpected as all I had had was a dispatch email and very basic tracking. One would expect to be given a date for such a large, expensive item. I was at work but luckily the delivery driver could wait for ten minutes whilst somebody got there to meet him- I otherwise would have missed delivery and been charged (make sure you read the terms and conditions!!!). A couple of minor pieces were missing and one broken but were easy enough to pick up from my local Wickes instead of waiting for them to be sent out. The playhouse went together pretty well with a few adjustments here and there- all was as expected for a budget wooden building. I have purchased thicker felt for the roof as the felt sent was very flimsy and many reviews had issues with leaking. The floor is very flimsy and needs a solid base- level slabs or concrete. I used a plastic grid base and have thus needed to strengthen the floor. Overall I have probably spent and extra £100 on glazing sealant, felt and wood but still feel I got value for money (I purchased the playhouse on sale, would not recommend paying full price).

The shed arrived flat pack with a packing list (no detailed parts list). An email arrived with the construction instructions. These instructions referred to a technical document - I downloaded the technical document from the BillyHo website and followed it to the letter. Very difficult to work out what parts were what with no parts list and no labels. Eventually we worked our way through building the shed until we got to roof height and that's where the problems started, wood not cut correctly, overhang not as stated in the technical details and not enough felt as per the instructions. We contacted customer services to be told that we had the wrong technical instructions (explained the measurement issues) and that additional felt would be sent to us immediately, We received and email and confirmed delivery date, and waited, and waited and still waiting all the time the roof is part felted and subject to the weather - we even offered to go and collect to the felt to be told not possible, lots of apologies, no resolution........ and the courier Evri is not doing them any favours.
