NEVER BUY FROM BILLABONG

I have never had such a horrendous customer service experience. I returned an item in March, it was received at their shipping center in April, it is now June and I still have not received my refund. I’ve called costumer service 8 times now and get the same response every time “we’re sorry, the refund has been process and should be reflected in your account in 2-4 business days.” 2 months later, still no refund. When I filed a dispute against them, they claimed the merchandise was still in my possession even though I have months of customer service exchanges and proof of return/ refund processed. Now they are claiming the refund was issued on their end and the problem is with my bank. NEVER buy from billabong.

Do not purchase from billiabong if you expect your item in any kind of reasonable time frame.

Took nearly 2 weeks to ship 1 item to the same state.

Terrible, not buying again.

Cheap quality billabong ,Bought a pair of thongs outlay…

Bought a pair of thongs not much outlay even so the thin Venere of plastic pattern has worn of after wearining them for 2x30 minute periods so back to plain black thong poor quality chinese crap won’t be buying anything again if there’s I looked at made in and thought put them back not had any product from there that you could say was ordinary at the least purchased in Burnie surf shop red fish or something

I love the clothing but fix fulfillment/returns please!

So I love the clothing and the style which is why I'm giving it 3 stars BUT there is serious work needed in the shipping/returns/customer service/fulfillment area. It's pretty much a regular thing to wait 2 weeks or more to get your shipment (I'm waiting for some sandals that will take two weeks right now). I did a return of two items and I was only credited for one item (called customer service and they fixed it but I shouldn't have to call). It took them 4 weeks to process the refund after they had the item in hand which seems a bit long. Customer service is overseas reps so be prepared for some language/understanding barriers if you call. At these prices you'd expect a bit more customer service in these areas. I'll still be a loyal customer as long as I enjoy the styles/clothing/vibe but I've had to adjust my expectations quite a bit.

not for intensive use

Unfortunately, after 1,5 intensive season my 5/4 mm wetsuit falls apart into pieces, my zipper broke after a few months of use. All the taped seams started to fall off after first season. The client service replies fast, but puts the blame on use and not the quality of materials.

Long shipment-wrong product-no assistance

Long shipment - wrong order - 0 customer service - very bad
Worst e-commerce experience from years, after bought two items from official site, shipment arrived from france or belgium in 2 weeks, the slowest shipment service from europe I found untill now.
Once the packet arrived, order was not correct and I received just one of the two items ordered.
Wrote to the customer service 5 days ago I still not received an answer or support.
Billabong make good product but have to work on its shop online, or remove this service if is not able to handle.
I don't think I will buy anymore on official billabong site and probably I will think two times to buy a billabong product in future (sorry for that)

Poorly run

I had to place multiple calls and write multiple emails to find out how long it takes to get off their email list which is annoying, disruptive and comes every DAY. I would NEVER get away with this and still keep MY job if it were I. Info that pops up mentioning how long it takes for data to go through system after "unsubsctibing" says 48 hours and then these people tell me it's about ten days. Finally found out today that it's 48 hours after you put request in to have company receive the info and THEN about ten days for data to get purged. Could have saved me an hour of bickering with these dumb asses if the first out of about six people I corresponded with had actually TOLD me that. No consideration for others' time and also unacceptable as well as unproductive talking over the top of callers and interrupting them, then having nerve to tell you to "calm down." The hell I will.

Slow, horrible service with no response..

They have the worst customer service I have ever witnessed.. I ordered several items.. After over 2 weeks with no delivery (on a 3-5 day express delivery) I emailed them and just told them to cancel the order. No reply of course and about another week and a half later, the items finally showed up, even though I cancelled the order. Nothing fit so I immediately returned everything the same day. About 2 weeks later they confirmed my items had been received and would refund my card in 5 -7 business days. After 14 days I just disputed the charge with my Amex and got the refund that way. Quiksilver has much better service and response for basically the same stuff.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM IF YOU THINK YOU MIGHT NEED TO RETURN SOMETHING

First, let me say that I wish I'd read these reviews before I ordered, but I (like so many others here it seems) trusted in the Billabong brand. I didn't think twice about ordering from them.

I ordered 3 dresses (same dresses, 3 different sizes) on 10/2/21. I received them on 24/2/21. I then returned 2 of these dresses on 26/2/21 via Hermes (only option available). To date (7/4/21) - almost 6 weeks after posting the dresses - these items are "still in transit". No idea when they will arrive and still £117 out of pocket. Cannot get through to Hermes or Billabong. Have sent 3 messages via contact form to Billabong; after a week's wait for a reply each time I get the SAME stock response about refund timescales. They haven't read my messages at all. I have now initiated a dispute against them with my bank. I didn't know when I ordered that the dresses were being shipped from Europe - I wouldn't have ordered if I had.

I will NEVER buy from Billabong again. Disgusting customer service. Ironically, I have just received a "rate our feedback" survey from them! Needless to say I told them what I thought of them and directed them to this website to see everybody else's grievances.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!! My advice: if you see something Billabong you really want, go via Ann's Cottage or Surfdome or Shore.

Billabong charges right right away for…

Billabong charges right right away for the item even though it is not sent promptly. When I return the item which was too small even though I went by their sizing guide they received it eight business days ago(12 days). I still have not received my refund and when I called customer service today I was told that in two more days I will receive an email letting me know that they are now processing it. Then after that it will be another 2 to 4 business days before the money is back in my own account. I highly recommend you order from a different company. Billabong is just awful!!!!!

Ordered 2 pieces of XXL clothing

Ordered 2 pieces of XXL clothing, received the order and the clothing was in fact labeled XXL but was no where near a XXL size. Requested a Return Label and was told the cost is on me to return. Very frustrating that an online vendor/retailer would charge their client the return cost of a product(s) that do not meet an actual standard size. The two pieces would be a large size, maybe just under an XL size. I would not recommend you purchase online with Billabong. If you have the same experience like I have, most likely you will be returning the product and out of pocket $$.

I ordered idems around 100€ with an promotion code. I payed the products. After that billabong cancelled the products saying they do not have them anymore in the storage. I go back on their page, all the products still available but the promotion code is not valid anymore the day the cancelled the order.

I consulted this site AFTER I placed…

I consulted this site AFTER I placed and order for a wetsuit for my 11-year-old, since I had never ordered from Billabong before. Once I read the reviews, I immediately got worried. Fast forward about two weeks and I felt I should weigh in since my experience was the complete opposite. Not sure what happened at the beginning of COVID but its October now and my daughter's wetsuit came in about 3 days which is excellent. I must have miscalculated the size - or she is growing too fast - and we had to return it since the arms were painfully tight. Billabong received the return in about 5 days and refunded me about 2 or 3 days after that. Customer service was also excellent. Whenever I emailed them, they replied promptly. I will say we had to go with another wetsuit from Amazon ultimately which seems to be working out, but this was because we were in a hurry not because Billabong's quality was not there. I really liked the wetsuit Billabong sent a lot better and I believe Billabongs was higher quality. We just did not have time to wait for the refund then reorder. Overall, 5-star company in my opinion. I will buy from them again for sure!

Bikini bottoms ripping the first time I wore them

Okay, now I am going to write another review and state NOT to buy Billabong products at all. I ordered a bikini and wore it to the beach for the first time and looked down to notice it was ripping at the seam and the elastic was exposed! Cheap product, terrible customer service. I'm dreading dealing with them because I've gone back and forth with so many people trying to get a previous return. I don't trust their customer service process.

Dishonest website

Very strange stuff going on with this website. The credit card charge was from some rinky-dink warehouse in Long Beach. Anyhow, my shipment took 2 weeks and the sizes are SO off. Sometimes the Medium is too big, other times it’s tiny and doesn’t even fit. So frustrating. I wrote a positive review of a dress with one tiny critique and they did not publish it! A dishonest website/company.
