Shipping times and processing times are horrible
Shipping times are horrible. It takes well over 3 business days to even get the item shipped and paying 10 dollars for usps shipping then after item has been shipped is so bad because it takes even longer. And end up not receiving the product for like 2 weeks. I will no longer be ordering from this company because of their poor shipping and wait times.

Never received a confirmation email for my items, when they arrived they didn’t fit; so I wanted to send them back to get a full refund. Obviously I had no order number, so couldn’t start a return. I have emailed customer services numerous times and have not got anywhere. Absolutely appalling! Will never be buying from them again!

I have purchased a lot of merchandise from Billabong over the years. I recently purchased some items online. The package was delivered and the items inside were not what I ordered. I understand everyone is overworked and a mistake was made - no biggie. However, when I called Billabong to resolve the issue, they indicated that I must return the wrong items that were sent to me and they have to process the return before they will send out the correct items OR I could go online and reorder my items if I needed them sooner. Both options result in Billabong holding my money hostage for however long it takes them to receive the incorrect items and process the return. If you've ever made a return to Billabong.com you will know that the return process takes about a month. This is unacceptable. This is their error, not mine. They refuse to send out the correct items until they receive the incorrect items. I will think twice before ordering from this company again.
Incredibly disappointed
Incredibly disappointed. Having owned many Billabong bikinis, seeing a Billabong store on Koh Samui, I instantly bought a new bikini. Gutted the bikini top didn’t fit. Went back into the store 2 days later to return the item and they refused. They gave me every excuse possible. And when I questioned their return policy they again came up with many excuses as to why they couldn’t issue me a full refund within 2 days of purchasing a full priced item.
The staff need to be trained to learn their own returns policy! And I still have no refund.

Ordered items OVER 1 month ago, and they have still not sent a shipping notification. I have reached out multiple times and been told "Due to increased demand and a high volume of orders, processing times are currently longer than usual." Billabong has a customer's money, but is not shipping their paid for goods. They also told me refunds were not an option even though I only inquired in to shipping times, which is very fishy imo.

Absolutely Disgusting Customer service I order two pairs on mens board shorts on Billabong Australia website a week ago 2025. While I was ordering it come up saying you have received a free duffel bag as spent over $150 would you like this yes or no...? It's a great bag. I clicked yes it was put on the order I got to pay section it said discount. Put in 10% code and paid then checked email 📧 for receipt only to find NO free bag. So contacted Billabong Australia 🇦🇺 Customer service. This agent used excuses saying that I never added the free bag making out like I was lying so as a courtesy. I will send out the bag. Well mate I as entitled ✔️ to the bag as a courtesy are you serious. Mind you this oder was done on the same day. Bag turns up yesterday 6th March 2025. But no shorts disgusting and customer service uses the excess well your order maybe delayed due to cyclone Alfred at the moment thanks for your understanding. Wish I could of given a zero stars. Supported Billabong for years as a young surfer only to cop this rubbish at 56 yrs old. Shameful & an absolute joke...Time to change brands you lost a very loyal customer....😡🤬
Mixed review with Billabong
Mixed review.. ordered 2 men’s shirts and also a nice coat for my wife, on the same day, Feb 5th 2025. The shirts were delivered on the 12th! However, by the 18th, after emailing their service team, I’m told they are very busy now, despite the shirts arriving in a week from orderiNg. It’s now March 5th , a month later, and still NO updates or shipping notice from the team at Billabong regarding the gift for my wife. So much for paying for the extra “express air” shipping fee? Thinking I need to cancel the order all together at this point. Clearly it’s been forgotten in the Chapter 11 retail issues , despite their reposts of continuing to work as an online distributor. It’s a shame it’s come to this for this clothing line.

I ordered an item 18 days ago and still ir is not processed and shipped yet. They keep saying that they have a lot of orders and that they will ship soon. I think that because they have declared bankruptcy, they will not ship it. They still offering new stuff on their web site, but everything is final sale now. They do not want to cancel my order saying that it was a final sale, but it is not indicated on my bill and I do not remember that it was when I made my order. When I ordered, I did not know that they declared bankruptcy. Be careful, if you buy something, you might not get it.

If I could give Billabong 0 stars I would. I don’t know what has happened to this company but they have gone downhill massively. They never sent my items, didn’t answer my emails (unable to call as no number available) and only responded at the 11th hour when I put a claim through PayPal. It’s a shame as we used to order from them a lot but never again. If you want to give this company your money and not receive the items, go ahead but you have been warned.
Delivery did not turn up
Recently ordered 2 tee shirts, the part order arrived within a week. I had an email saying the other tee shirts had been shipped (tracking number was issued to follow the delivery). Tried to follow the delivery using the tracking number supplied only to be notified the tracking number is none existent.
I have emailed several times but I have had no answer. Tried to call the customer service number but guess what number is incorrect.
Strongly recommend nobody to use this company, customer service/care or support team is none existent just like the tracking number.

Complete mess! Awful service. Do not buy from this company. Returned an order to the US which was even a hassle, they then received it but never refunded or acknowledged the return therefore making me lose the product and my money due to Paypal refusing the case as it was over 30 days since delivery to my address. No decorum at all, do not waste your time with these people.

I am located in Canada but ordered something from US site only to find out I am unable to return from Canada even if I pay for shipping myself. This is predatory business practice and this is not properly explained on the website. While I like their cloth customer service is awful…I do not recommend buying online their products.

I dont like to write bad reviews but apalling customer service needs to be called out recently Billabong offered Tshirts at 30% off I selected a Tshirt that showed the 30% off and the original price was struck out and the discount price was advertised, when I added the item to the cart the disount wasnt showing. I then took a screenshot of the item showing the 30% discount plus the price was struck out and the discount price was showing I sent this to Billabong who responded the item wasnt on sale - even though I sent a screen shot. This is in breach of ACCC false adverttising rules and Billabong should be selling at lowest price advertised acording to ACCC, I went back to Billabong re there dishonest advertising practices but they have not responded disgracefull customer service false advertising be ware.
The negative reviews aren't wrong
The negative reviews aren't wrong. While I love their stretch boardshorts (I've bought many over the past several years), their customer service completely undoes any positive feelings I once had about the company. For example, I received three swimsuits that were not as described in the website (advertised as 4-way stretch, but had zero stretch), and one of them was too small. The fact that it didn't stretch would have been a deal breaker, but it plainly stated in the description that it was 4-way stretch, so I bought it. The part about being too small was admittedly my mistake, as I accidentally forgot to select M on one of them in the order, and got the default S. Where that part becomes their customer service issue is that I noticed my error within seconds of submitting the order online, and couldn't see a way to cancel. I called Billabong customer service, only to be told that they couldn't cancel orders once placed, but I could return it for a refund once received. I thought that was ridiculous, since I had just placed the order less than a minute before placing the call, but what was I to do? I returned the small one after it finally arrived (kept the ones that fit), but they then charged me $7.99 service charge to get my refund. They should have just cancelled the order before shipping since it had been placed literally seconds before I called, but they refused to. The phone rep wasn't friendly or helpful, just said it couldn't be done. I haven't received what's left of my partial refund yet, but I expect (hope) I will get it at some point. By the way, I left a negative review on their website about the whole experience weeks ago, but it still hasn't shown up on their website. I hope they'll get around to it one day. I think I'm finally done with Billabong, and it's honestly sad to see such a recognized brand damaging its own reputation like this. I hope they can turn it around.
Edit: I did get my reduced refund. Raising from one to two stars. It would have been four stars if the material hadn't been misrepresented, and a $7.99 restocking fee deducted from my refund. While it's true that I ordered a smaller size than intended, I could have probably still kept and worn it if the material had indeed been 4-way stretch as advertised on their website.
