Moving in itself is stressful, add to that not knowing where you are moving and there is your recipe for pure chaos but despite all my variables, if's and maybe's, Gavin was super helpful and accommodating and I was relaxed knowing at least my emergency storage option is sorted. 5 star customer service 👏

Quick, easy and friendly to get set up

Amazing service and staff. Denis explained how the storage unit worked and left no detail out. Would have been lost without him. Great staff hard to find. Met carol briefly, just as nice.

Staff are fine generally - we don't actually need to have much contact with them. But Big P decided to add another floor to the Halifax storage location without adding another lift. So generally, you're fighting to get your stuff into the lift, especially when the couriers are in there, or someone's bringing their worldly goods in because they're moving and temporarily between homes. So, you can cope with that, but today the lift is broken and there's no alternative way to move your stuff upstairs. As it happened, we could manage, just about - we've left some stuff in the car for the time being - but what about those people on the new top floor with more, or heavier, stuff who face carrying their stuff up several staircases? It's really poor. If you're increasing income by adding a floor, don't make fools of your customers by not adding a second lift at the same time.

Absolutely would recommend Big Padlock for self storage, competitive rates, great and friendly customer service, 24 x 7 access and all ground level. Good parking and loading/unloading undercover. Even toilets and coffee available.

I contacted Big Padlock looking for some storage space so that I can clear out and sort the 'Junk' in our garage as there was hardly rome to move. I contacted Big Padlock on the suggestion of a Friend who had used them beofre. They got back to me suggesting that I come in to see them so that we could talk over what I required in the way of space for the items that I would be storing. We were shown a couple of sizes that were normally used fora garage full of items and we agreed on a smaller size than I at first thought we would require, which came in cheaper. The costs of the rental of the space, the level of access to the space, and the payment methods were all explained in depth, with the first payment being taken there and then by card. All in all a quick and easy transaction with the friendly staff. Very Happy

I would highly recommend Big Padlock Storage, Halifax. Very clean and tidy, lift and use of trolleys. Staff are amazing.

Great Facility, easy access, load of trolleys and parking etc. As you would expect with so much competition now in this market and particularly with newer facilities opening all the time.

So how do they compete ?

Well their trump card is the team and in particular Lee.

Helpful, cheerful, responsive, informative and obviously well aware that client satisfaction is the key factor.

Couldn't have been more helpful for the 7 months we have been using the unit.

Then, at the end of a very busy day back and forwards checking out of our unit, me limping, hubby flagging, Lee appeared at side of the van lugging the last item, a very large pine picnic table we were just plucking up strength to go back for...

Final bill all sorted within 24 hours, refund processed immediately and arrived to my bank 48 hours after that.

Bish..Bash..Bosh...Lee & his team are all over it.

I can't thank them enough Dennis made getting the unit easy as I didn't know what i was doing. Carol made the vacation of the unit easier. Carol always sent the invoices ahead of time so you could plan. Unit and facilities were spotless and carol is always on hand to speak to if you need to. Carol is a great manager of this site would recommend and use again if I needed storage
