Credit card charge was excessive; Our credit card charge was posted before I was able to review all of the fees and accept; I did not feel like fighting for another 75.00 cancellation fee .
NO A/C!! Fans did not cool down the house; key outlets were not functioning(for fan placement); Furniture needed covers due to stains; back yard was not kept up, our dog p/u'd many stickers.
Brochure says the lake was within walking distance- close to 1/3 to 1/2 mile to private property lakefront. No Broom but they want you to leave it as you found it?
Positive Points: great water pressure in shower, beautiful environment with abundance of restaurants and activities that were pet friendly.
Final result: There are better places to rent at a better value that are cleaner and better kept up. My first trip to Big Bear , probably my last.

The house is much nicer in person.
It has everything for a amazing getaway. Barbecue outside, swings for the kids plenty of space inside and outdoors. We enjoy our stay. Overall clean and cozy. Looking forward to come back in the winter.

Too expensive for what you get! Lot of general maintenance required. Minimal amount of cooking utensils. Personal TV apps required. Dock unusable with all the vegetation growth.

breath of fresh air.. our trip was amazing, the ,house was very clean had everything we needed.

We loved the area and the cabin itself. It was very well equipped and accommodating.
I am planning on renting next year for a week but would not choose this cabin because:
1. It was dusty and the floors were dirty as if it wasn't checked before our arrival.
2. The corner of the living room area rug nearest the hallway is lifted and a few of us were tripping over it. Perhaps some type of tape to adherent to the floor would help solve that problem.
3.The walk-in shower has a considerable amount of mold at the bottom edges and a portion of the seat.
4. The bathroom rugs in the walk-in shower room were dirty and had a fair amount of accumulated hair. Perhaps discarding them and putting new rugs down.
5. The beds in both bedrooms were way too large. they were too close to the wall making it too difficult for a senior citizen to enter the bed without crawling to their pillow.

The transaction to rent went smooth and was handled professionally.

The family had fun playing with the arcade games and pool table in the game room. The beds were big and comfortable. Everything was provided that we needed, inlcuding lots of warm blankets.

I booked through Big Bear Cool Cabins and the experience was excellent. The cabin was beautiful, fully stocked, and had everything I needed for my trip—I really didn’t have to bring much at all. The entire process was smooth and stress-free, and I left very satisfied with both the property and all the thoughtful extras provided.

The size of the cabinet was perfect, all amenities incredible, jacuzzi was clean, location close to stores, convenient front and back door, beautiful fire place, the back patio was one of the best places to spend with family during night time. Plenty blankets super cozy.
Unfortunately, haven't AC was a little uncomfortable during the day, at the time of arrive ants where all over the coffe counter, batteries where pretty low on the living room fan and light, should be a little to consider the natural smells on blankets, sheets and pillows some people are allergic to strong smells as too much Downey on bed linnens and towells, also as part od hospitality a d services a doble and eyes after cleaning are always a good to catch some little things to avoid the guess discomfort. I work in the hospitality amd services Industry and We know the positive and also catching negatives experiences can always be great to improve the business and provide and excellence services.
My family and I had a wonderful time thanks for open the door on cool cabins again.

The in-town location of the cabin is great! It is near Snow Summit and the golf course with lots of shops and restaurants a short distance away. The cabin is pet friendly and our dogs had a blast in the big, fenced-in yard.
The cabin is well appointed and had most everything we needed for a fun family vacation in Big Bear.

It was very comfortable. You feel like you’re at home.. you had everything you needed stay with cool cabins . You were close enough to all the areas so you could go do the things you wanted to do while there. We will definitely be using cool cabins again . They are legitimate thank you for a great trip & weekend

House very spacious has everything for cooking. Very close to stores. Street very quiet

My husband and I had a great time like we always do when we visit Big Bear; however, the slant in the cabin was too noticeable to ignore. The shower head was not ideal for such a small stall. I appreciated the clean bathroom and kitchen, but wished the spider webs inside and out were cleared away. There was a strong smell of natural gas through out the downstairs and the comforter on the beds were noisy.

Used big bear cool cabins before. Had some decent expectations for this particular cabin. The spa at bear trap cabin worked halfway. Either put it down to repair or don’t advertise a spa on the property. Only selected that cabin for the spa. Still used it but would have been more enjoyable with fully functioning spa. Signs in the rooms informing people that the heaters do not work is not a good look either.

The Cabin and the neighborhood was very quite and enjoyable. It is close to shopping areas, the Lake and the Village. The staff at Big Bear Cool Cabins was very helpful before and during my stay, and quick to respond to my questions.

I reserved the Grizzly cabin as my base for the Tour de Big Bear. The cabin was tidy and clean and the instructions were very easy to understand so I could enjoy the amenities. The kitchen was well stocked with cups, plates, pots, pans, etc so meals were simple to prepare. The bed was very comfortable and water pressure in the bath was excellent. The only downside was the cabin seemed to have too much furniture which made it feel crowded and cramped. I actually had difficulty finding a space to set my bike. Overall, though, I enjoyed my stay and will look to reserve it again next time.
