I would not recommend BHG financial
I would not recommend BHG financial. As part of their process, they run your credit which is expected. They then have you pull a month's bank statements and send to them a long with routing number and accounts numbers of the account you are depositing in. This account must have your name on it and be a personal account.
They charge an extremely high origination fee and the contract says they have the right to ask you for IRS documents anytime during the loan. It also says that if you default on ANY other loan or credit obligation during the time of the loan you have with them, they consider that default on their loan.
To top it all off, once you sign the loan documents they come back and ask you for an additional 3 months of bank statements AFTER they have already run your credit and you have ALREADY signed a loan document stating terms and deposit dates and repayment amounts before they will deposit the money you already signed for.
I had also gotten approved for a Lightsteam loan which is 10x easier. It's all done online. You don't even have to talk to anyone. They deposit any whatever account you want and don't come back after the fact asking for a bunch of banking information. It's purely based on your credit and ability to pay. I literally applied and got funded in 3 days with NO origionation fee or crevice check. Save your time and don't go with this onerous company.

All rates, terms, and conditions of a BHG loan are provided in writing prior to funding, and you’re able to walk away at any time.

This experience has been so easy. We got a call from Brittany almost immediately and she answered all our questions. We did take a couple of days to make a decision about the loan but Brittany was so attentive and worked with her team to come up with a loan amount and interest rate that we needed. I do not recommend this company to anyone. I was approved right away and now over a week later after I signed loan docs I still have not received my funds. This company gives you the runaround and will not answer emails in a timely manner. Does not appear to be a legitimate company.
