My Confidence Problem Resolved!

I went to Beyond The Mud with a specific "problem" - a lack of confidence when it came to fast downhill trails with bumps, jumps and berms. Within 5 minutes, James the instructor took me through some such simple techniques and adjustments to my bike that I almost immediately got that confidence back - it was brilliant.
We then went on to look at the bike set up, body positioning, making an approach to a berm or jump and some slow skills training.
Finished off by hitting one of the trails and REALLY enjoying it.
James knows his stuff, he is super calm, patient and good fun - although a bit unfair asking me questions as we went steep uphill and he was on an e-Bike whilst I burst a lung!!
Great session, I'll be back for sure.

Fun mountain bike course for kids

Would recommend Beyond the Mud for a kids beginners mountain bike course. My boys enjoyed their morning and learnt skills to improve their riding. They covered lots of different skills and had lots of fun. Will definitely book them to do another lesson

Great coaching

I saw James form some tips on how to be more confident on downhill trails
The tackles berms, drops and some useful body positioning and technical advice

Super useful and pitched well to my ability so it didn't feel generic

I booked my son onto a private lesson…

I booked my son onto a private lesson (will be buying more) with James so he could achieve the basics to go out with his friends down trails. He had a really fab hour and learnt so much and can’t wait to go out and practice these skills. Hannah was super efficient on coming back to me with the admin side of things. Really lovely company.
