The Beyondspace Lightbox Studio is a great solution for Squarespace users who want functionality such as "pinch/zoom" on mobile devices.

The Lightbox layout and functions work and look great out-of-the-box and it inspired me to ask about design options.

The Lightbox Studios Plugin is absolute gold! It has made every photo viewing experience ten times more immersive for my squarespace website. It provides a dark background, pinch and zoom capabilities and even the ability to easily download images. I had trouble with the installer code since I used it a lot throughout my website. I reached out to the support team for help when things stopped working and Niang immediately responded back to assist with my request. I created a website for my photography images on Squarespace but I wanted to be able to zoom in on my photos so I purchased the lightbox plugin. I had trouble injecting the code because I’m definitely not computer savvy. I emailed support at BeyondSpace and created a ticket. A very well developed plugin that allowed me to quickly and simply implement my design concept for a portfolio showcase.

Niang is also one of the most responsive and helpful developers I've dealt with including providing guidance and tech support in the setup process.

They updated the code and wrote a blog to address a question I had. The code itself was super easy to install, and the zoom function worked seamlessly. Adding videos to the product listing is also a huge upgrade. Thanks to this plug-in, my website now looks so much more professional.

Beyondspace Lightbox Studio is a clear winner for me because of its simplicity of installation. In only thirty seconds, seemingly countless features are instantly unlocked at your fingertips, taking your Squarespace website to a professional level. As a UX designer, I use Lightbox Studio to highlight aspects of my graphical UI designs; the Zoom feature helps viewers zoom in and look at details that might be missed.

Lightbox Video is also helpful in embedding my YouTube videos for in-place viewing instead of opening in a new tab or window.

I just today updated the old version of Lightbox Studio on my Squarespace website to the newest version and it was simple as could be, not to mention FREE since I was already a customer (having bought the old version)! Customer service is fantastic and pretty quick (got what I needed same day/evening) and communication was professional, kind, and helpful. The functionality of Lightbox Studio is even BETTER and now works with PDFs which I'm so happy about! I can host my resume in a much more streamlined manner now and not have to direct to an external website. Lightbox Studio fills the massive gap in features/functionality that Squarespace has when it comes to native zoom for gallery images and now for viewing PDFs! Incredibly happy customer here and my original purchase was worth EVERY PENNY! If you're new and thinking of getting Lightbox Studio, DO IT. You won't be disappointed!
