Quoted 5 weeks to fix a fire hazard

About 2 years ago Bexhill Electrical replaced our shower pull-cord switch. A few weeks ago this new switch started to smell and became too hot to touch when the shower was in use. Plainly it had developed a fault and was an obvious fire hazard. I called BE and was told it would be 5 WEEKS before someone could come and look at it. I suggested this was pretty poor, considering the circumstances, and the lady said 'I'll take your number and see what I can do'. I expected a call back in 20 minutes. 24 HOURS later she called and
said someone could come out in 2 weeks. For a fire hazard that they installed.
I get that they're busy, but I'm a returning customer (they had done work for me at my previous address too) with an electrical fire hazard they installed. Sub it out if none of your staff are available, or pay someone some overtime to fix it out of office hours. Easy.
