My employer has tasked me with updating and creating new proposals. This program is absolutely useless. The design capabilities are so poor its like drafting plans for a skyscraper with crayon on toilet paper.
I have recommended we look for other options.

While its easy enough to create and send proposals, they lock your contracts into their ecosystem so if you ever cancel or 'pause' client's aren't able to view their proposals online. No easy way to export proposals when trying to leave.

They show you $29, but be careful, when it’s time to pay, they actually charge $39.
Make sure you double-check everything, and more importantly: don’t do business with them.

Better Proposals falsely advertises a Zoho CRM integration. In reality, the only data it can pull is a contact’s name and email address. No deal data, values, automation, or proposal status ever sync back to Zoho. Nothing is pushed from Better Proposals into the CRM, and no workflow connection exists.

After testing, it’s clear this “integration” is only listed for SEO purposes. It’s misleading to users who expect a functional CRM connection. If you rely on Zoho CRM, this platform will not integrate in any meaningful way.

Great for a freelancer working remotely. I've been working remotely with companies across the globe for years now and I was using Google Docs to send out proposals. Switching to Better proposals is MUCH more time efficient, I can send out beautiful proposals without any design skills and, most importantly, I have all the analytics on who opens and reads my documents. Would recommend.

I’ve had a very unprofessional chain of experiences with Better Proposals and also had a few customer service interactions that was by far berating and disrespectful.

The software is okay… from what it was a few years ago to what it is today it is lacking in comparison to similar up to date software from a technology perspective.

I also feel that they suppress legitimate and honest reviews from others who have had a similar experience including with the CEO himself. It’s despicable to be bullied by the CEO of a company for valid concerns. I do not recommend this company.

Edited: Just as I suspected the CEO is trying to have my review removed. I have email proof that I will send to Trustpilot if requested to show how they had an incident that occurred and how the CEO treated me. If you check on Reddit and other places you will see others have had a similar experience. He does everything he can to silence users

I will cooperate with TrustPilot but sent the company minimal information for verification. I don’t feel safe, the CEO seems like a dangerous person.

This company is ran by a racist, homophobic woman hater who actively sends memes to women on instagram calling them w******. Go with a better SASS company that doesn’t harass people in their free time.

BUT THERE'S A WAY TO UPGRADE WITHOUT EMAILING THEM
