Unable to claim winnings
After signing up initially, the account would not work due to an ID issue. So being a TAB customer for many years I decided to just stick with my current betting agency (TAB) - several weeks went by and I received an email offering $50 credit (to place a bet with) if I went back and confirmed my identity, so I did it (done online using my driver's license) and received a $50 credit and off I went. Well, I won 3 bets in a row, and my account was showing $161.00! Fantastic - this was over the weekend, so on Monday morning I went online to have my winnings transferred to my account. After entering my details and being told my account was "incorrect" (which it wasn't) so i called and was asked a few times if the bank account was mine, I confirmed - then I was told I would need to send "proof of my account" to them before they can transfer money. Did that - and no response. It's clear I will not likely get "my winnings" and to tell the truth, I don't feel waiting days to prove myself to them in the hope they may transfer my winnings is good behavior or customer service. I asked about closing the account down, and was informed I would need to complete a form etc etc. I feel like an idiot, provided bank statement to these people, even trans a small sum over form my debit card to see if they would then refund onto that card. No, that can't be done either. If you do sign-up be sure to confirm verbally, how and when you will get your payout before transferring and betting with them, as they have no offices or outlets you have no choice but to walk away. Fair enough - they won, but I would really like the account to be closed and to never be contacted by them again - can't have either of those options either. If you are already with TAB I would advise staying with them, they payout pretty quickly online and you can go to one of their outlets if you need to confirm your ID (and just take your winnings out!)
