Thank you for your review! Our sincere apologies that there was a misconception. All items listed on www.bergfreunde.no are shown without VAT. Additionally, all parcels are dispatched from our warehouse in Germany. This means that you must pay Norwegian VAT and any customs charge due upon collection of the parcel.
You can find more information and a calculator to estimate the total taxes and fees on the Norwegian customs website here: http://www.toll.no/no/netthandel/
Kind regards - Bergfreunde.no

Terrible

Terrible. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING HERE.
They will charge you all the custom clearance fees and VAT on top of the price that you think you are buying. They are based in Germany. We felt completely robbed after buying them a jacket.
Completely UNTRUSTABLE and FRAUDULENT.

"Two Years Warranty" is nonsense

As my hiking shoes both broke in the exact same spot after very gentle use and Bergfreunde claimed it was not a warranty issue, I decided to stay away from both the Hooka One One brand and Bergfreunde.

A Great Webshop.

Super happy with all my purchases at this site.
as all other places you need to know what you are buying and ofc. there is not VAT included. some products are still 50% off when you compare prices.
i have never needed the costumer service because they got it all explained if you care to read all the text when using the website.
thnx :)

Lureri?

This website displays as a Norwegian site, but it’s based in Germany. Therefore, you pay 500NOK to collect. I definitely feel tricked into giving them my custom.

Good prices, even after import taxes

Could have been even better at warning you about the import taxes and fees when shipping to Norway, but other than that I've been very happy with the three items I've bought from Bergfreunde.no. Prices are often still good even after Norwegian taxes and fees have been added, and delivery time was fast!

Lousy

Poor customer service, slow shipping speed for what you pay and VAT not included in price. Will not order from this company again.

Should clarify that it is not Norwegian

Same problem with the location of the company. Some bigger companies like Zara, Adidas have Norwegian sites, despite goods are sent from outside Norway, they are all VAT exempt. Yet I was confused whether or not it is the case with Bergfreunde.no. Good job that I checked TrustPilot and learned that VAT has to be paid. I suggest the company make it clear on their "Norwegian" website to point out that this company is not registered in Norway, therefore customers need to pay the VAT as well as the customer handling fee. And I hope they know that it is normally not a small amount in Norway, customers end up wasting time and money.

NOT FAIR!

We have bought 2 parkas for the price over 350 euros. Were waiting for the parcel, but it was stucked at the customs. After that the price of 2 parcas was over 500 euros. And the shop said - sorry, we cannot help You. If You are ordering to Norway, You must know THAT IT IS NOWHERE ON THE WEBSITE WRITTEN ABOUT THE ADDITONAL VAT AND CUSTOMS FEE YOU HAVE TO PAY AFTER!

Excellent!

Fast delivery (to Norway) and good prices. The fact that prices were without taxes should be written next to the price (or somewhere very visible) , but I managed to find the information.

Low prices, lousy shipping and poor customer support.

Allthough the prices are low, the customer service and support is not good enough. I bought a jacket, two days later I got a mail that it had been shipped and that it would take 5-7 working days. Enclosed in the mail with the shipment notice was a package number and a link so that I could track my package. Now 12 working days later I haven’t received my package, the tracking doesn’t work and I haven’t gotten any response to my mails regarding these problems. I can understand that shipments doesn’t always go according to plan, but the combination with poor customer suppert leaves me with a very negative view of Bergfreunde. I would think twice about making purchases with them.
