TOTAL BULLSHIT!!!!!
False advertising! I bought trailer pocket d ring tie downs. Advertisement showed pack of 4, they only sent 1! Refused to send return shipping address. Only trusted them because they had PayPal.
Like another reviewer, they tacked on an additional $18 "tax" after I approved the $59.20 order. I filed a complaint with PayPal and it was refunded. Then I start getting updates that it's being shipped from Ireland. What?! It took more than a month to deliver these D-ring trailer tie downs. Oops, it's apparently not plural. In the product description is shows 4, and implied 4 in the ad, but now in I see in a much smaller font, and in a faint gray, it says Buy 1 on the invoice. Is that 1 set? Apparently not. You can buy 4 of these all day long on Amazon, or at Tractor Supply and Harbor Freight for 50-65 bucks, so seeing a picture of 4 for $60 was reasonable. I don't know if Benieficial played a part in what I see as fraud, or if they are just a site, knowingly or not, that provided a path for it. I will file a complaint with support at benieficial today before contacting PayPal to address the issue for me.
I will try to update this review once there is a resolution.
Update 1: So far they are not willing to correct the error, but I'm still trying. In searching around I now see that Scam Detector gives them a rating of 24 out of 100 with "Suspicious, Unsafe Doubtful" as keywords.
I wish I had checked that before buying from them.
Update 2: The seller is refusing to ship the missing parts, so they offered me "8 in the default currency", whatever that means. If not then they will only refund the $60 if "you will need to return the goods to our Chinese warehouse. But shipping costs will be high."
Why would I have to ship it to a China warehouse if the ad says it's "Made in the USA", even though the shipping information shows it shipped from Ireland?
Hopefully PayPal will be able to help. It may only be $60, but it's the principle of this apparent scam.
Be wary of this company. I had problems from the very get-go with them. When I ordered the trailer D rings from them, I got an invoice for one price, and they charged my PayPal $18 more. Most people may not have caught this error. Then, their product states that it is made in the USA, but the product is being shipped from Italy. I asked them why several times, and have never received back a response from them. Obviously this product is not made in the USA, as stated in their ad. I would never order from this company again. I even tried to leave a review on their site and it would not take my review because it was a one star. I wish I had a seen the reviews on this site before I had ordered them.
After waiting six days, I was told my order was being processed in ITALY. When I inquired as to why it was in Italy, I was simply told that it was being processed in Italy (!!!) Don't deal with this company, it's a mess. When I tried to submit a one-star rating on their site, I got an error message that the given data was invalid.
